Well, if the scaling is linear at lvl 350 health is 2.5x and at lvl 450 3.5x, an increase of 40%.
Compensate for the fact that at lvl 450 you have better equipments and 30% is probably not too far.

Also I don't understand how this has anything to do with mage vs melee, mages get equally screwed by the hp scaling at high level, they were a lot faster before and they are a lot faster now, nothing really changed.

You're not making any sense, HP did not increase outside @PFUDOR, they decreased for lower level players.
By that logic we should ask for mage buffs since hp decrease does nothing for mages.

Nothing changed between melee vs mage.
Melee is slow and safe, mage is fast.
Decreasing HP doesn't change this truth.

What I meant above was that, instead of discussing a way to improve the overall gameplay, a lot of requests are oriented for mage only. But mage does not need more buffs (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

I think letting melee crit with more of the melee damage it dishes out would go a long ways towards helping melee out.

Critical Counters, Dominoes, Off-hands, maybe even void/elemental strikes too.
