With butcher lv 5 and forge lv 6 has barely the same ADB of a so-so Rapier of Slaughter.
Parry is sooo low, even forged it's still lower than LMax (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
And too much Overpower for 1H imo (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

I haven't seen one that was less than 1M in some shops and the ones with "make your own offer" hasn't gotten me one with the same results. I'm not exactly rich.

Check in the weekly auctions, the meh ones are cheap.

I have 3k MDB with a set of Mag Staff forged to 5 + 5 Mag Phases unforged, all paired with melee PABs (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

No, 3.5 it's impossible.
I have 3.8 at my level, with staff fully forged (mdb, int, wis) and all the cloths with int and wis forged to either 15 or 25.

Sorry for the late answer. You are correct however, I'm currently saving up for Divine Warmage perk. Then again, my daily routine these days comprises DwD, T&T and a handful REs, so 4+1 performs sufficiently well.

I am well aware that I'm by no means a top-notch Holy Mage, but given that I'm using a non-matching staff, still lack the prof perk, haven't forged much of my armor yet etc etc I don't think I'm doing too badly.

I questioned about the MDB, then concluded that forge does very little (except maybe destruction staff) on the MDB pool, not the EDB.

Due to unforseen but not unwelcome circumstances I was able to unlock prof perk much sooner than expected. DwD clearspeed didn't change too drastically, which is to be expected, with 3 out of 4 SGs having 0 Holy mitigation to begin with. However, T&T dropped from 6 mins to 5. Not bad at all (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
