@jiuqi97: I'm not playing mage but i know that strenght is useless for mages so you can recover some extra points for other stats from it.

You can also keep strenght at 0, just in the end, when you cannog get more points you can drop on it everyting that coannot get on other stats.

It seems you're DEX is also too high, in fact mage don't attact phisically and don't really have Parry so it pointless, better invest those point on other stats as well.

Dex is pretty nice for mage though. That wiki page is outdated and generally wrong on some things. Monsters weren't as lethal when that was made, for a start.

It's a guide made by players, not gospel, so it can be biased/based on opinion at some points as well.

The ratio at the end is generally down to preference, but if mine serves as any reference:

The Str was leftover that I put in for 1h mage. I don't recommend really putting much in strength until you reach 500 and just throwing in spare points though

Draining any attribute to 0 is pointless, lowering from 150 to 0 will free you total of ~3m exp, at level 350+ you won't buy much extra pubs for 3m of exp, on other hand extra useless pubs will grant you only few spirit points which not significant too.

STR gives you literally no benefit as a (staff) mage. It gives you some more spirit points, but that's only helpful for spirit stance, which mages never use. The extra spirit as no benefit for spirit shield, which uses a percentage of base spirit. (Incidentally, the SP Tank ability adds a percentage to your spirit, which is actually helpful.)

If you share the persona with 1h mage, str helps with counterattacks and spirit stance/ofc, however you choose to spend your overcharge. Eventually, you may wish to buy a new persona dedicated to staff mage and leave str at 0.

I suppose I should post my mage stats too. 1h mage:

1h mage has a bit more wis because I can use the magic hit chance. Staff mage wis will go down relative to the other stats when I need fewer cures. (Phazon too expensive!)
