QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Jan 16 2017, 21:07) Strongly disagree. Having high hath values is one of the most useful functions of HV, since it incentivizes H@H.
Okay okay right. Hath even @10000, but after I got some perks, okay? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

With utilization at single digit and total coverage at 16 I hardly think it will ever be a problem. And actually less H@H will increase hath price so it would adjust by itself in that case. For the site it would probably be better to add incentives for donations, because donations at the moment are much better than H@H. This post has been edited by Sapo84: Jan 17 2017, 02:21

Based on the current H@H stats I agree that there are currently plenty of incentives to run H@H. However, I wonder if anyone has ever done a poll to see why folks run H@H. Is it primarily to sell Hath for credits or use for bounties? In those cases those who run H@H would rightfully be concerned about the falling value of Hath on the exchange. However, if the primary reason to run H@H is so one can afford the wealthy perks like Repair Bear Mk.4 and Æsahættr then the falling value doesn't matter. In fact it may even be beneficial since it makes it cheaper to supplement H@H with Hath purchased on the open market.

I run H@H and I don't give the tiniest fuck about the market for my part. Unless someday I end up sitting on millions, in which case indeed I'd be happy to be able to buy hath at a low price.

QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Jan 15 2017, 16:10) You clicked on the Sell All button. If your browser didn't give you a prompt to confirm that you really wanted to sell them, or if you're 100% sure you didn't press the Sell All button, then your browser (or your browser's add-ons) has extremely serious problems, or someone else is controlling your account or computer, or something similarly catastrophic.
That's why I said I think it's pretty likely you just accidentally pressed the confirmation dialog without realizing. It's not a HV bug, and a situation that odd seems pretty unlikely, which is why I'm betting on PEBCAK.

A week today is the six year anniversary of the Monster Lab.
I'm confident that this year the anniversary will be marked with a patch that finally introduces the class specific chaos upgrades.
I also expect that the new upgrades will make humanoids the best class, which is what everyone wanted from the beginning.
I'm 100% certain this will happen. There's no way I could be wrong!

Well that would be an interesting change. However, I wonder how it would be implemented. For example, would all current chaos upgrades be refunded, or would you have to use whatever tokens are in your reserves to start enabling the new upgrades. Plus there are 13 different classes, so would all of the new upgrades be unique or would upgrades be shared across multiple classes?

A big update was just pushed for the main site, so if a HV update is the next thing on the agenda TB only just started seriously working on it.

Ok, I'm curious, why do you think we should fear the next update?

It's the Monster Lab six year anniversary, but once again class specific chaos upgrades have not been implemented (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Tenboro, if you're not going to finish the Monster Lab, will you at least let me move into your basement and live as a NEET? I think that's the least you could do to make up for this outrage!

Do you want to live in my basement? You can help oil the rape machines and keep the lolis company. I promise not to come in and clop while I watch you sleep. There are some species of spiders nobody's ever seen before; you could name one after Eila. I could use an assistant in the operating theater, but if you just want to game, I'll put up a curtain and let you keep at it.
Tenboro's basement is kind of creepy.
