But it really doesn't take much to activate the bonus, and it doesn't have to be random either (as in, nonsensical). Take this post. Perfectly on topic, and absolutely not random (infrequent, but regular and predictable as clockwork).

I wonder if a pattern will emerge. About every 30 days we'll get a bunch of random posts from those who just want to renew the bonus. Then the posting activity will die down only to spike again about 30 days later.

I think it highly likely. I'm more likely to post in individual submissions than the forums.

As opposed to the random posts in the "today" threads (weather, what did you _____ today?) we had with the 20 in 30 requirement? Hopefully this cuts down on the chaff by a factor near 30...

Personally, I'm no a fan of 'not in my backyard' thinking, so I think random posts in this or any other thread except for the Test Forum are unwanted. Hopefully, the revised requirement of one post per 30 days for the EXP bonus will encourage folks to at least use complete sentences, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

A few moments ago, while I was hitting an enemy, I briefly saw the Channeling icon appear.
Could it be something got changed that allow things others than casting magic to produce a Channeling that would only last 1 or 2 turns?
After seeing 2 or 3 times, I slowed down hitting the attack button to try to catch it, but it didn't appear at that time.

Things that could have triggered it:
-active or disappearing vital theft effect?
-active or disappearing ether theft effect?
-active or disappearing Burning Soul effect?
-active or disappearing Breached Defense effect?
-normal attack?
-innate arcana?

In my next fight, I will try fighting more slowly in case it happen again.

edit: could not see it again until now.Maybe it was just the wrong icon loading or something unsignificant like that...a bit disappointing (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

Are you referring to the time it takes to do the actual training or the time it takes to earn enough credits to start the training?

Only 6 of the 15 trainings take the full 24 hours and four of those six start at 1 million, so few players have enough credits to do those trainings back to back. Therefore the fact that it takes 24 hours really doesn't matter since you'll have to save up for weeks/months before doing the next level.

If you're referring to the cost of the trainings, well given the current Hath exchange rate, compared to most of the Hath perks it takes a lot less time to save up for the next training than for the next perk on your wish list.
