Had the usual "forgot to switch back from melee to mage" causing RE to be more of a pain recently.

I didn't know about that damn key binding of F12 on item.
These things are dangerous, and it should be possible to disable them, or even better, it should be possible to enable them with them being disabled by default.

F1-F12 is hotkey for items since ages ago...
I believe monsterbation could overrule that as it also possible to change 1-2-3 key to imperil while by default it's binded to attacking monsters.
maybe try to bind those F-key to nothing

Yes, I tried that, and it restored normal work of F12.In the meantime, I had just player with scripts disabled to find out what I was looking for.

It took me nearly an entire week and 237 Amnesia Shards to get my PSWD 5+4. When I went back from shops after buying some catalysts, I went directly to the reforge page as usual and clicked the Reforge button. If you lock the item then I believe you can't reforge them.

I have been using Hvut, but until today I realized that I have this feature(This is the result of not reading Hvut's instruction). Maybe I should With the help of Hvut, I woould never make the same mistake in the future.

Accidentally sending all of my Precursor articafts to the shrine intead of just one with Easy show

(IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) Because I was busy doing something else while ordering, I bought a large amount of Mid-grade metals instead of Mig-grade Leather which I needed to improve the new legendary armor that I got, the only good thing is that I had saved a large amount of them in case of any emergency.

But it was a major expense ...

No one will probably read this, but I needed someplace to get this off my chest.


I started playing/grinding HV on and off almost 10 years ago in order to acquire credits for downloading galleries, and got to a little over level 250 in that time.

Very recently (barely a week) I ended up donating to the site, and after getting a gold star and the rewards associated with it I bothered to look deeper into how HV works.

Only now have I begun to understand how much I've been doing wrong.


Some things:

Didn't know what GP was so I spent credits directly for downloads

Didn't know/understand what hath and hath perks were

Sold everything I didn't need for credits - consumables, equipment, trophies, artifacts, etc - directly to EQ/Item shops as I didn't know what the market was

Didn't invest much credits into training

Barely looked into the settings in HV and the functions available there

Gear/abilities/playstyle were/are probably very sub-optimal

Struggled to do Arena/RoB on normal/hard difficulty all the way to level 250+, not to mention it was very time consuming without scripts and shortcuts/hotkeys

And many more...


I would be in great pain, but luckily I'm more traumatized with the recent loss of my cat. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

sorry to hear that your cat has died. But welcome back in HV. If you need any advice or help, feel free to ask - ask the expert thread is perfect for that.
