So I get back to the topic:
As I made so many f*ck-ups I have to restrain myself with this post and stick to my top 3:

3. I invested in abilities but didn't assign them
2. I invested in ability points in different armor types (well I used different armor types at that moment so it kind of made sense to me)
1. Some time ago I changed the "alarm" amount for mana when monsterbation stops hoveractions to 1%. Several weeks later I have IA 1 to 3 with all my protection buffs on them (protection, Spirit Shield and SoL). It was the last round of aDwD (pfudor) and only one dragon was left alive. I lost all my buffs and got instanly oneshotted with a void spell.

Started as ele wizard and too lazy to switch. Its like impossible to kill some of the bosses.

Just realized right now that weapon infusion enchantments have a cap of 2 at any given time.
I've been enchanting the full spectrum every time since I started. God knows how many hundreds of infusions I've wasted.

While doing `A Dance with Dragons` at about ~130 round, got too careless, sneezed and miss clicked. Died of course. I was so pissed to waste these 2 hours to get to 130 round, that hadn't been playing for about a year after that.

I'm taking a break from this game to do other things but I accidentally triggered Dawn by looking at hentai gallery. Actually I did not even know that Dawn could be (randomly?) triggered at a gallery page. Now I have to do some Random Encounters and arenas today.

Random Encounters cannot occur during the following situations:

The player is already engaged in another battle. Clicking the link after the first battle is completed will work.

Not sure if you can prevent dawns....
And I think it can trigger anywhere but the "My Home" page, if I'm not mistaken (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

dawn will trigger in the first gallery you visit. Only way to stop that is by not looking at any gallery. Which would be a pity. Better solution is to play just a couple of RE every day, and to say 'hi' to your friends here every once in a while (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

I think there are a couple other ways to avoid triggering Dawn at a gallery, I just didn't know about it before.

1) Don't login when looking at galleries. I only logged in because I wanted to download an archive with my star power, which I usually don't have to do.

2) [edit by noni] Not sure if that works, but I did trigger on the light version.

Well I got a legendary just now from a Random Encounter and another one the last day I logged in, so not bad I guess.

Bought bindings of the nimble at 29k per mat when they go for less than 2k. Not by biggest fuck up but its still surprising that I can still mess up after all these years playing. Well that's what I get for playing when I'm wasted. The funny thing is that I don't even need them. Now I'm a go sell some hath, make my credits back, take another edible and go see John Wick 3. Cheers

Yeah thanks for the warning the thing was I did two bids canceled one and though both were canceled. It's not that bad thou it was only 1.3m I'll sell 500 hath later and forget about it. I'm not sure what my biggest Fuck up was it's been so long. Probably playing hv without knowing there was forum section for it. I remember I got to level 320 and realized there was a whole community for this game. Also playing without scripts until 320.

My biggest fuck up was years ago. I don't think I was lvl 200 yet, but had some decentish equipment. If I remember right, I don't think the equipment needed a certain level to use then. There was a change which effected either cure or regen (can't remember which, but probably regen), which made fights a bit tougher for me. I should have just grinded the skill back up, but instead I spat out my dummy, sold all my equipment and items, turned it all into gp, and quit the game for a long time. I've only in the last few months started playing again.


Since then, I've accidentally drank energy drinks, which I imagine is a common thing. On a similar note, I've drank energy drinks when I didn't particularly need to back when I very first started playing, after just losing a couple points of stamina, or drinking one when I had no intention of playing long enough on the day for it to matter.
I've fled from fights, including random encounters and arenas, by clicking flee instead of scan.
Most recently, I soulbound a legendary weapon that wasn't my level, and it turned out worse than what I had. I've never bothered learning how to tell a good piece of equipment from a bad one, and don't particularly ever plan to.
