Forget to change the difficulty before entering the battle.

I think my biggest fuc up is playing so fast that I don’t see everything happening in the battle and I’ve died a few times. I’ve only been playing since January 1st, but still I feel like a fuctard every time it happens.

the monsterbation have a feature to stop on certain condition and color coded banner on specific condition, you might be able to use that to prevent that. This post has been edited by Fudo Masamune: Jan 9 2019, 13:42

Went to Soul fuse to check my fragment count. Decided to check around the junks to see if anything's good.
Out of reflex, I tried to scrap an average cloth piece. While not changing to scrap segment.
Good thing it was only average... 100k worth down the drain.

I do get how soul frags would eventually become excessive, but for now... it's a scarce resource :/ Edit: well, better than when I unknowingly chuck down a few bottles of energy drinks. But you cant sell them, so how much they cost in the item shop means absolutly nothing, when you do the right thing and never ever buy them there. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

I did the same thing some months ago, and TWO TIMES one after the other, too (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) There are other things in HV interface that are prone to cause costly errors; I suspect it is so on purpose, out of sadistic malice (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

Not realising that using number keys is far better than using mouse to attack monsters.
Not knowing that the further the buff icons are to the left the closer they are to expiring XD

When I first started using the scripts, the numkeys were just as fast for me. However now the numkeys are significantly slower. It depends on how fast your turns/second potential is, which seems to be affected by your PC, browser, location, internet bandwidth, time of day, and what domain you play on.
If your turns/second is low like mine used to be, around 1 t/s, the numkeys won't be noticeably slower. These days I'm around 2 t/s which is still much slower than the typical player here.

QUOTE(ihatenamingthings @ Jan 26 2019, 11:27) I play 2H OC skill spam, so I doubt I can use the script efficiently :/ Also on a laptop with no mouse (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) still a big improvement. By the way, a mouse is very cheap.

Not when you are a certain RL Friend of uncle. I mean ugh, 200 Euro for a mouse? What a mad man. But i aggree Noni using the script and hoover the mouse cursor is so much better. The different is even bigger than from clicking to the numblock.

QUOTE(DJNoni @ Jan 26 2019, 12:11) you sir, should try monsterbation script, and you will know how much numkeys suck. Well I am, but I turned off all of its functions except skip round end, detailed info in the log at the end of battle, detailed info about the items at the end of battle and the toolbar for the consumables. I don't use the hover attack since I do think number keys are actually better, I found it kind of less reliable and its faster to have one hand click number keys and use spells/buffs with mouse. I don't really find keys hard to use, sometimes you miss a key but I don't think hover would be faster and its like nothing compared to the convenience of using both hands. If you are comfortable with it then it's good. But to be honest you'll be tired very soon just like me even though I only clear PFUDOR arena every single day and IW my own equipment. And I don't have a mouse but a touchpad (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) It's good to have scripts that stop you when you are dying, and also attack without constant spam your keys. I have been accidentally tapped the number keys too fast countless times that even though I know I'm dying but it's already too late. It's not a big deal but it just doesn't feel good and you simply wasted your time, energy, and credits.

It's not a big deal but it just doesn't feel good and you simply wasted your time, energy, and credits. Isn't using only mouse all the time more tiring? With keys you just hold keys and you use both hands. Also it seems faster. Besides you need to stop anyway to activate buffs. And I more often play on IWETH and not on PFUDOR since I take too much damage on PFUDOR, sure I guess the script could stop you from dying but I don't think its that much better and you still need to spend more time watching your health if it drops say below 40% and you need to click heal/potion. And from my experience you don't seem to get that much more credits, on IWETH its basically almost 100% safe, you can't die. If you can't make it fully automatic, ie you still need to watch your buffs expire then you can also watch your health, the delay between attacks is maybe 0,3, 0,25 of a second? sth like that But I can imagine that it could be different with a touchpad This post has been edited by erlon: Jan 27 2019, 16:53
