Not mage expert but IIRC that is a very valuable piece, good legendary ones are worth a few millions, so a peerless one could be dozens of millions. Congrats!

Peerless is unpredictable, and it's gloves. You could have 80m on your hands, you could have 200m, who knows. Not many dark mages can really use it cause you need ridiculous base prof and a ridiculous staff to play 4+1 dark, so that'll be reduce the competition, but there's plenty of rich people who are deluded enough to think that might be them one day.

Up to you what you want to do with it.

Stats are not exceptional, but not bad either. The level is very low, the staff is a good one.

But few people play Dark mage at that level ... hard to give a value.

If you don't want to use it now or later, send to auction, I'd say.

Why me?

I actually register in very little lotteries and I don't buy every Peerless that passes by you know. I ain't one of those who snatch every little shit away just because why not and who has hundreds of leather/plate/whatever in his inventory. I couldn't count on my fingers (feet included) the number of people who really hoard everything.
My selection is actually narrowed on certain types of equipments.
