1) Can sell, has a lot of decents stats, it's ethereal. However, parry is high but not super high, and DEX is bad. So don't expect much (50-300k?), but someone with less knowledge may buy it from auction for more who knows (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

2) This one is slightly worse than 1) in the good stats, but has good DEX. Starting bid for sure, probably more.

I started playing a few months ago (right after Christmas, so I missed out on that event). I was only able to get 2 of the 7 hoarded items to drop (many times each), so I bought a full set for 150K credits. I just turned in all of the trophies it gave me for two-handed weapons and got 6x Magnificent + 1x Legendary Estocs (so just like the hoarded items it likes to drop the same equipment many times each). Just looking at the stats it appears that the Legendary is abnormally low. Can anyone tell me any reasons why I would want to use the Legendary over the Magnificent? And also what they are each worth?

You're comparing two different suffixes (particularly, slaughter increases ADB, balance increases crit chance and accuracy instead), that's why the legendary appears to be particularly low rolls on some things. Also, the top end of magnificent ranges can overlap with the bottom end of legendary ranges for some stats.

Despite the level, neither are worth much. The legendary may be sellable for a very small sum of money via Decondelite's auction but I wouldn't really count on it.

You just had a big loss from the trophies you shrined.
Those were worth 2.4m credits with the higher exchange they had in the last 2 days (200k each for the lesser artifacts, 1m for the bigger one)

Use the magnificent for now.
The leg is quite trash, also elemental aka lots of burden aka nope.

There is a chance for the heaven sent, but very low because it's plain.
If it was at least frugal it could have interested someone (even though the prefix isn't really that good).
Starting bid or a little more with some luck.

The charged one...I would've said "it can sell for 200-500k!" then I saw Surtr. Unfortunately it's quite unwanted.

This would've been a good staff for grinding proficiency, back in the day.
Right now, the new system made useless the use of a beatstick for staff prof, also keeping up to the level is extremely easy, so you just prof up by maging normally.

That sounds fun. I should try playing as beatstick mage or kung fu fighter one day. With clothes, not naked to sacrifice self to monsters.

If the stats are really, really strong, that's not necessarily the case.
Though only someone who is actually knowledged in maging could tell if one of those is viable.
