Interesting...I never knew that going all-phase wasn't the best way to play Mage. Well good thing I didn't salvage this then.

I've never done auctions, just selling stuff, anybody want to recommend a good auction user that I could auction this through? The credits are more important to me right now than this being one of two prof pieces for my holy set.

Can I get a price check on this? To date, this is the first and only legendary drop I have ever had. Might as well check what it's worth. In a little while I'll be asking the worth on a bunch of Mag Cloth and Staffs, if that's okay with everyone. Only reason is, I literally know jack shit about cloth and staffs, and I'm too scared to salvage something that might be half decent, even though it's unlikely I have anything good.

In the case of your Mag Clothes and Staffs, I'm warning you beforehand: if you post them here it is very likely that one player (or even several) will tell you that they are High-Grade material, while they aren't. Likewise, they could try to buy a good piece for 30k and then resell it for 200-300k, if not even more.

Unfortunately, due to my position, I won't give any price check for that kind of equipment and warning you is so much I can do.

Thanks decondelite. Yeah, that's been my struggle right now, thinking if I should sell or keep. I don't think I'll ever get a drop like this for a long time, and (especially right now) I'd never be able to afford anything close to it. But I could improve a lot of my other crappy armor with that money.

Funnily enough, I've used your guidelines in your WTB as a guideline for myself for what items I keep and what I bazaar and salvage (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) And I always follow your auctions and stuff. You're a player I really trust, so I truly do appreciate your reply!

And thanks for the warning on the clothes and staves. I got some advice from other players as well, so I'll keep lurking and hold on to a lot of my stuff for now.

I completely agree. There are probably several extremely powerful Holy Mages that look for ways of improving, and this is the only way. You could get pretty close to prof factor 1.0 with only 1 cotton, and free up another slot for radiant phase. 10m? That's not even the start bid. I can see this go for way, way more. Send it to one of the existing auctions, and perhaps you can try to negotiate a fixed auction fee in stead of a percentage?

I see. Ok, I will take that advice and will send it off to auction. A quick search confirmed that this particular combination with the prof it has should generate some serious interest. I guess I still can learn new things even after all the years I've played HV.

The price for those are related to how good the stats are in those.

usually, if the the stat are AWESOME, you can find them for 100k to 500k in shops... but sometimes you find those in auctions for millions... thats why is kinda hard to figure.

It's not Arctic/Hallowed/Demonic/Ethereal, so at your level it's just worthless. At your level, parry doesn't mean that much anymore: it's all about killing mons and SGs as fast as possible.
