It have high Potency Tier, high Penetrated Armor change, high Attack Accuracy, high crit, high parry, and almost all Primary Attributes is high, too.
low ADB could rise thought Force upgrade.
Really, I am one of the people who go for it, and go as high as 600k, but after it pass 1m... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

A loss of 4-5 base ADB can't really be made up by anything else imho, especially if you are going to IW it putting Butcher on it.

1) Doesn't really matter, especially since they were bad potencies
2) The range is so small that it doesn't matter
3) Useless
4) Good but not on 1st place priority

At my level, that rapier forged to 5 would have the same ADB as a peerless. (´｡• ω •｡`) At 100 forge, that rapier would have the same ADB as a peerless forged to 50.
Forging that peerless from 50 to 100 would give it an advantage of 10% in final roll.

Problem is, why should you forge a crappy rapier to 100 just to reach a good rapier forged to 50?
The last, like, 30 or 40 (70->100 or 60->100) upgrades on the crappy rapier, are worth maybe the ten from 40 to 50 on the peerless.
It makes literally no sense whatsoever.

That's why good rolls are everything. It's not just an e-peenis contest.
Using 10m of BoS+Catalysts on a crappy rapier to have the same result that you have with 1-2m, of the same materials, on a good rapier, can show you where the wrong use of credits is.


But well, if you aren't interested in forging past 5, and/or a perfect IW, just pick a crappy rapier with a good prefix and soulfuse it.
Just pay it 50k, or maybe pick it from bazaar.
Don't spend millions for it.

The rapier was actually 40% adb, something is wrong with Superlatanium's new method of adb calculation on rapiers, his endpoints are off. And 40% adb is the exact cutoff above magnificent max, where legendary rapiers start to be worth something.

Although 1.4m was a gross overpay (I expected no higher than 500k) I would rather pay 1.4m on that one with 98% parry, than the other one half a year ago that was 1m, with 40% adb and every other stat at 0%. And even that rapier came out well in a lucky IW with dark strike, so I feel that buyer made out well in the end.

23.3 isn't a high PA chance, it's only exactly average, and is arguably the third most important stat on a rapier. So overall I don't think it was much better than the last two legendary ethereal rapiers of slaughter I had (using this one and sold the other) which costed almost an order of magnitude less.

grab the arctic one for the time being (then a decent rapier of slaughter)

nimble for defense, balance for offense.
Arctic, ethereal, fiery from best prefix to worst among the five
I say the second one.
Also you need a slaughter rapier as mainhand

Bid for ethereal one, that's gonna reduce your burden, and maybe you should change your rapier too? There's several good rapiers in decondelite's auction I think, maybe you can win and soulfuse one...

Yes, the name is, but the attributes are not (I guess, because I'm not an expert in equipment PAB things). I have one like that but many experts here suggested me to look and buy for ethereal slaughter and I got one and (again) it helped me a lot...

But my style is 1h+shield+power so I think I can't help you much...
