QUOTE(Sapo84 @ Oct 5 2017, 10:17) All the more reasons to use the slaughter leggings, the IW of the warding one is trash.
Agreed. The ADB of the warding is quite low too.

I thought the item world was good for zero shards. I hate interference at my level so I figured extra MP would make up for it. I was hoping for Capacitor 5 and Elecproof 5 so they could fit the new name, but I got Holyproof 1 instead. What are the desired potencies for armor? The ADB is 51%, not too bad. And the other stats are generally good. Not as good as the Magnificent one though (relative to its quality class).

For melee the best potency is Juggernaut, hands down Capacitor is nice to have, but not necessary

As a high-level 1H melee player, I'd say Capacitor is actually worse than any of the generic resistance potencies. You can easily keep up your mana with draughts anyway, so the bonus from Capacitor is basically pointless.

Double that. I would prefer elemental resistances more than Capacitor too. With 1959 MP, +31 magic regen per tick, Effluent Ether and IW5 - my mana is being restored faster than reduced. For levels below, say, 400, of course - situation is completely different - one can get elemental prefixes from equipment and get few Capacitor to handle all MP reduces. It is actually funny, that before I were saying "Hell, Fireproof instead of Capacitor? Well, let's reforge then", but now I am saying "Hell, Capacitor instead of Fireproof? Well, I would reforge it, but I am too lazy for this" (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) This post has been edited by f4tal: Oct 5 2017, 19:37

Considering the fact that most elemental damages are like 1% of total incoming damage it's still equally bad (maybe holyproof, darkproof and fireproof are marginally better but still...). QUOTE(as013 @ Oct 5 2017, 20:49) Starting bid?

They're quite the same. Capacitor can decrease your mana draught use, but the advantage is so limited that is like 1 credit every 100 rounds or less. Elemental resistances are almost irrelevant in the damage calculations, so their advantage exists but it's like taking 1 less damage every 10000 (or more). Fast answer: melee goes for jug 5, screw everything else, it's just to rename the equipment (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Thanks for the comments they were all really helpful. As I mentioned in my previous post, I am well aware of the change in mana costs as level increases. Buff duration/upkeep becomes far less, though I think the "startup amount" remains the same, which can make random encounters difficult without innate arcana. Considering my low level, bottom-feeder status, lack of any innate arcana, and the fact that these are temporary leggings, I think the IW of the legendary one is perfect for me. About the price, I noticed decondelite has an almost identical Magnificent Power Leggings of Slaughter to my Magnificent Power Leggings of Slaughter in his shop for only 100k. Seems like a great buy for just slightly worse stats.

Yours are way better. More ADB, more Crit Chance and Damage, more PMi, higher Burden, insanely higher STR. The other stats, lower, are either not relevant or not much lower to be a problem.
