QUOTE(piyin @ Sep 13 2017, 20:23) Likely wouldn't get more than the minimum bid at auction.

Mag savage power gauntlets of protection (SDE) Lv358 304.49 ADB ADB% = 44.6% (maths below because I'm prone to fuckups) Is this superlatinum auction quality? If not, price check please? Thanks (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Maths: Scaled Stat = (1 + level / level_factor) * base_stat Base_stat = scaled_stat / (1 + level / level_factor) Base_stat = 304.49 / (1 + 358 / (50 / 3) Base_stat = 14.32 ADB% = (max_stat - base_stat) / (max_stat - min_stat) ADB% = (16.33 - 14.32) / (16.33 - 11.82) ADB% = 44.6% * using the leg not-slaughter max/min stats, even though this is a mag piece.

using max rather than min on numerator tells you how far you're from the max, not to the min like we use to do. actually that should be a 55.4 for our standards.

I'm confused. I did use the max on the numerator... didn't I? Hang on, the numerator is the top number, right? QUOTE(piyin @ Sep 15 2017, 08:25) Really? Poop (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Range is Value - Lmin / Lmax - Lmin not Lmax - Value / Lmax - Lmin with this (wrong) formula a L-0.01 adb would result in a <1% range (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) This post has been edited by End Of All Hope: Sep 15 2017, 01:45

yes, you did. QUOTE Hang on, the numerator is the top number, right?
erm... yes... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) QUOTE(End Of All Hope @ Sep 15 2017, 01:44) Range is Value - Lmin / Lmax - Lmin not Lmax - Value / Lmax - Lmin with this (wrong) formula a L-0.01 adb would result in a <1% range (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) which is right in its own way. given that (max - min) = 100% of spread, if you use Lmin on numerator you start counting from Lmin (or from zero, if you prefer) and then increase till Lmax (which is 1). if you prefer, how far you are from the absolute worst. this is what we do, and what percentile script does. let's call the result P. if you use Lmax on numerator, you start counting from Lmax (or from zero, if you prefer) and then increase till Lmin (which is 1) - but this is actually a counter-advancing, so a decreasing. if you prefer, how far you are from the absolute best. let's call the result Q. since they are still complehementary (P + Q = 1) you can still return to the usual notation if you pick percentile calculated with Lmax and subtract it from 1 (P = 1 - Q). Oooh yep, I see where I fucked up. I reported the number of percentiles it was away from 100% 100% - 44.6% = 55.4% from leg 0% (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Do you think it's worth anything? Or is it noob trash / HGM / bazaar fodder?

QUOTE(Scremaz @ Sep 15 2017, 14:32) Considering how even the legendary vanilla ones, with low statuses, rarely get starting bids, i would say... very very unlikely (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) This post has been edited by Epion: Sep 15 2017, 17:27

QUOTE(Kira.Yoshikage @ Sep 15 2017, 18:07) both on the edge. If you're lucky one or both may fetch 50k. however, the demonic willow is better - try your luck in auction with that one, I'd say. This post has been edited by DJNoni: Sep 15 2017, 18:19

QUOTE(ALL_MIGHT @ Sep 15 2017, 17:33) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Then may i get a price check. That's very random. Low level, heimdall and over 60% will sell. Frugal is not what people will spend too much onto though, so from 50k to 500k... anything goes. Can even get more if you are lucky, but i wouldn't count too much on it.

QUOTE(Kira.Yoshikage @ Sep 15 2017, 18:07) DJNoni is right with salvaging the Arctic Willow. I see a Peerless DWSoF going for 4 million in Super's auction this week. Running off to work like literally in 2 minutes so not much time to look at stats compared to Lmax but depending on how close you are to Lmax the more it can fetch.
