QUOTE(Sapo84 @ Aug 19 2017, 15:29) That's what frankmelody used in his holy mage build. My guess is that average monster resist increases with the time (more high-level chaosed monsters) so katalox heaven-sent builds are nowhere as good as oak builds, but it's still pretty viable, in particular when paired with radiant phases.
ah. and what about katalox of destruction? i mean, oak of heimdall seems to be the best possible staff, but what could possibly be a second best one?

Katalox of heaven-sent + prof shoes + full radiant should be the highest possible magic score for a holy mage build with 1.0 prof factor. Destruction is better without full radiant.

QUOTE(Fódla @ Aug 19 2017, 06:12) Thanks for the advices!
I will send it to Kedama's Auction. Not sure he will accept this staff or not.
I wouldn't mind having that staff. It's different. I'll PM you an offer.

Redwood Staff has no Divine Proficiency nor Holy Spell Damage. Only Oak and Katalox are for Holy.

Got your PM. Thank you for buying the staff. I am curious about why you are interesting in this staff? If you don't want to say, just ignore my question.

Oops, I always confuse redwood and katalox in that case. I should check the wiki before I say something stupid.

This doesn't look terrible to me, but I don't understand the market dynamics for Wakizashi, let alone of slaughter, or at my level. Legendary Fiery Wakizashi of Slaughter Worth anything? Part of why I don't understand the market dynamics is that Super's "Smart Search" script stopped working reliably for me months ago. It now hangs whenever I try to check levels, and it misses lost of posts. And yes, I've rebuilt the database. Not asking for help, just trying to preempt any disdain for not already knowing it's not worth anything. I should probably post over in the script thread, I know...

I would say either bazaar value or very low value (20-30k). Slaughter suffix is not very useful on wakizashis and fiery prefix is the worst one possible. This post has been edited by Sapo84: Aug 20 2017, 04:50

I'm using a mismatched staff at the moment, but heavily forged to make up the difference. I am going to slowly forge the hell out of the Katalox and then give it a try. Its all as I wait cussing and raising hell like a self entitled 7 year old little bitch.... Ah hem..... It's all as I wait patiently for the PHOH which I so dearly desire.

What's the use of a slaughter that does not hit consistently?

That will change when you level up. Also for offhand i would never use a slaughter, allways nimble. Whats the use of a slaughter when damage is reduced because offhand? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (S) edit: typo This post has been edited by Uncle Stu: Aug 20 2017, 10:15

We'll see how much he disagrees! On a related note, is ADB 59% Parry 76% on a slaughter really so pitiful? I get how Slaughter is structurally challenging for an off hand weapon, just curious what you would consider reasonable for ADB on a Slaughter weapon...
