I've heard that the Peerless Hallowed Oak Staff of Heimdall is currently the best weapon in the game, but my prize is a Peerless Demonic Oak Staff of Heimdall.

Does this matter? Should I change the way I build my mage now? Like, for example, should I now try to get both my divine and forbidden proficency ratings to 1.1?

I really like it too. I've been buying 20k tickets on every "of heimdall", and "redwood of [elemant]" lottery that I can, and finally won one (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Intuition dictates that I now need to raise my forbidden prof also, but I don't know for sure whether or not proficiencies afftect the prefix strikes... i'll have to ask in the ask-the-experts thread, I think.

Oh okay *phew* even with level 10 assimilator, I find raising proficencies an incredibly slow and tedious task. I was not looking forward to having to train an extra prof (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Yep, 7-10m probably can be expected on your LTRD, but many people still prefer to use LTWD.

Willow is the best type of Wind/Elec mage who play @PFUDOR if they use IMP style.

I would honestly be very interested in knowing how different is redwood vs willow at high level.
(hoping sssss2 will do one of his very informative post with the data gathered with his recent willow elec build).

If the different is pretty big I doubt rich wind mages will ever be interested in a redwood, even with superb rolls like jackalo's one.

No, rich wind mages never will be interested in a redwood, even it is PTRD in this patch.
Although redwood has some advantages on SG, you can only clear it once a day.
They prefer to use P/LTWD@PFUDOR or P/LTRE@Hell if they are grinding PF-GF or Hell-GF.

It's not a bad Shield with lv 317. If you don't have good Shield, you can soulboud and use it when you reach lv217.

Not particularly valuable, I think. The last Legendary Frugal Phase Shoes of Niflheim that was sold at an auction went for 110k and that one had 86% EDB, while yours has 11%.
