Pretty much... but, because of excellent level for starting mage, it could fetch 50k in auction. Prof is low, prefix sucks, but a starting mage may want to buy anyway.

I'd like to know how much it would cost to get a better lvl 220-300 buckler than this (untradable) one: Exquisite Buckler of the Barrier.

All the ones I've seen at the WTS shops so far are either much higher level, or have a lower base block % (Haven't calculated it myself - script puts the base block at 30.74).

bucklers of barrier aren't so common, letting apart at that level. is there a specific reason because you want them? you may have more luck with Force Shields, you know...

I get the impression that upgrading to a significantly better forceshield (worth going from 3 interference to 30+, which right now would be ~75% increase in total equip interference) at level 220-300 would cost around 300k. At least, that's what I've seen in shops. I suppose I've seen some auctioned at 50k that were only ~lvl330 with a 34 base.

My sample size is pretty small though (Like, single digits >.>). What kind of price range should I be expecting if I was willing to switch to a forceshield for a sizable block increase?

Perhaps I should just wait until after level 300 before trying to move up shield-wise.. already planning on waiting before trying to move to power armor.

possibly 50k, if it's crappy enough (let's say a Magnificent?). even for free, if that Mag on FreeSHop is still available.
worst case, open a WTB in which you say you want a Magnificent one, decent Block, up to level 300, DEX PAB (possibly END too), budget 50~100k. should be doable.

Excellent piece, [WTB]Peerless/Legendary Charged Cotton Pants of the Demon-fiend 20m. Its probably as close to peerless as you can get defensive stat wise, the int pab lets the piece down a bit but still amazing overall.

Depends, do you really need prof pants for your build?
If so keep them, otherwise sell and buy 3 very good equips with the credits.

nice 1h mage shield. Block is a bit low, but it is battlecaster. Don't scrap this one.
