those are Robes. regardless of math, robe is percieved as the worse slot for a proficiency armor. on the other hand, shoes are one of the best. be happy.

in fact, i said "regardless of math, robe is percieved as". i'm not too fond of such things, but iirc many users on multiple occasions said that you should pick the slot in relation to how much prof you miss to reach the ideal factor. if it needs to be the robe, why not?

For Elemental mage, even with willow, I would say that pants are more than enough if you're willing to fully forge it.
