QUOTE(decondelite @ Jan 19 2017, 20:38) *sigh* If people could stop saying this about every equipment that doesn't reach Max ADB - 0.01 + Max PAB - 0.01, that'd be great. That is, without even mentioning the fact that it's an average level equipment that drops very rarely, and not your random lvl500 trash. Yes the ADB is a bit below the average of its category, so what? The fact that it's an Estoc, Ethereal, Slaughter already make it something very interesting. Hence why I bet that I can get 50k out of it. And quickly.
i doubt it may fetch such price, because: 1. main reason, it's bound to a too high level to have market. 2H is commonly suggested for starters. consider yourself a lucky exception 2. obviously you go with whatever you can find. but best 2H weapons for beginners are Longswords (high ADB) and Maces (Stun effect). given the difficulty they'll most likely play, an Estoc wouldn't even have the time for PA to be useful 3. another main reason, 2H is a broken style in this meta. an user in its soulfuse range (lv163+) may be already thinking about switching to 1H. and even if he wasn't, i don't think he'll have 750-ish soul fragments for a temporary weapons. or even less, their 750k worth. in such case, he'll use them for better gears is it a bad weapon? i don't know. you have all my support for the Max ADB thing. but it's not like neither you nor me can do so much about this. the inflation of Legendaries and the PAB limit imposed by Tenboro on certain qualities brought to this. when Magnificent and Legendaries are common, people start to spit on Exq. especially if they will surely lack a PAB. when Legendaries are so common, people start to ignore low-tier Legendaries. even if the difference is only 20 ADB on a 10k pool. but 90% L-range sounds cooler than 60%. may it sell? maybe. who knows? surely not for 50k. if you may trade it for an artifact it may already be a big goal imo. sad but true, that's how the market is stagnating nowadays. enjoy (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

QUOTE(gianfrix94 @ Jan 19 2017, 20:48) I've seen a Magnificent Ethereal Estoc of Slaughter with Legendary range ADB roll go unsold, and you think you can sell an Exquisite Ethereal Estoc with Superior range ADB roll for 50k? Good luck finding such a sucker.
If your Mag is lvl350+, no wonder why it doesn't sell. The level of the equipment plays a huge factor. Even 50 levels makes a huge difference. I've been selling quite a lot of stuff these last days, including things that I consider being useless even to lvl200 players. Anyway, I'll display that thing at 30k, we'll see. PS: I prefer buying a bad quality Leg for 20k rather than a top-notch Mag for 100k, but that will have lower efficiency anyway. This post has been edited by decondelite: Jan 19 2017, 22:06

an average-level shop selling average-quality items isn't exactly new. but yours are quite cheap. also, i don't remember having ever seen such a politic for refunds. not bad. actually, if you plan to mid-forge it, a top-tier Mag may be globally cheaper than a bad Leg - even if starting rolls are the same. this is due to the tier of catalysts and materials. if you don't plan to forge it too much, the spread may not be worth the game.

I was not saying it to diss you, I was only trying to help - just giving you my honest price estimation. Sorry if I have offended you. And I still think that estoc is trash. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I consider that I shouldn't sell any basic stuff that would be more expensive than what could occasionally be found in the bazar, but I still should sell for more than what I would sell to the bazar myself. At least it makes a good reason for people to buy by me, and for me to sell them. And it seems to work pretty well. But when it comes to admittedly useful gear, it seems that I should have sold for a higher price. I'm already sold out from all the Power/Shade/Phase. :/ PS: I hate myself for salvaging all the Superiors I had back when I was around lvl200.

Disclaimer: it's quite long, i know. But i cannot help but telling the little bit i understood to people who are starting their own business. Also, today i feel like writing a lot (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) QUOTE(decondelite @ Jan 19 2017, 23:05) But when it comes to admittedly useful gear, it seems that I should have sold for a higher price. And that's the whole matter: surely there's sort of a sweet point that maximizes your incoming - above that, people won't buy because too expensive. Under that, you'll lose a bit. Obviously nobody no one knows where this optimum is. Prices in this and other threads are only suggestions or hints. Experts in this and other threads usually refer to auctions, but those aren't a 100% reliable source. Truth is, people will buy something from you when your prices are affordable enough (ie, an Exq Leather for 100k isn't affordable. 2k indeed is) or when you have something unique (ie, a lv400 Peerless Hallowed Oak Staff of Heimdall could be easily put into a WTS for 50M, and it may still be underpriced). But ultimately the choice is yours: do you prefer to be a kind guy who helps newbies by selling things at discount price, earns not-so-much-but-still-better-than-bazaar yet could still hope to clear his inventory every now and then or trying to maximize your incoming and keeping your items rottening in inventory forever? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Mind you, it's not a retoric question. Your shop, your rules. Your business somehow works. Even if amounts per piece are low, what's worth? 300k in the matter of a week? Not bad. And unlike all of us, you're within a level range in which the "crappy" Exquisite and such are still useful and users who seek for them may not have so many credits, but surely need them. Just look at the levels of all the people who answered you: only gianfrix is in a situation similar to yours. But as far as i see, he adopted a style similar to mine: letting users decide their own price. At times it can bring you big incoming: it happened to me a few times to have to lower the price i was proposed because - come on, you cannot sell a non-Savage Mag Shade of Fleet for 500k, even if people is ready to pay and you're thinking that such a profit won't come again (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) . But it can also discourage customers without too much knowledge, who are a good amount at your levels. Also, you cannot have too high prices because apart gianfrix himself, both of you still have FreeSHop as rival. You cannot compete. Last but not the least, for trophies there's WTB section. It's a safe and quick sell. And i don't think that many low-levels would waste ~2k on a trophy that can give you something as low as an Average when for the same amount they can pick a granted Exquisite from your list. If i can throw my two cents in, you may focus on low-level gears and eventually LG materials needed to forge them a bit. But again, your call. Hope this can help both you and gianfrix in your business (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

QUOTE(poiulkjh @ Jan 20 2017, 14:32) Not much i fear. Wakizashis are mostly used when balance or nimble, since the damage boost is lost as an offhand weapon, plus it's parry is L -1,49, but since it's a very low level you can give it a try for an auction. There is a chance that it might sell.

I don't even know how much it would be worth, 200-300M+ I guess (if there were enough uber-rich people interested).

Not exactly equip, but what is current price for gold star? I see offers for 33M but given how long they stay, I doubt it's current price.
