Somewhere around 1.5-3m, I think - the stats are decent and the slot is good, and while radiant is generally not used as much for imperil mages these days, it's still good - especially in arena, but in fest too.

Legendary * Shade * of the Arcanist is usually dirt cheap (50-250k?) and is always 100 rounds. Sometimes you can even find them in the bazaar, but for 100k+. Some people buy them just to IW them (and flee at round 100), since they give the highest XP out of any type of equipment. They're basically useless for anything else.

That's not true! Staffs and some shields can have pxp low enough to not guarantee 100-round IW, and possibly some others too. The magic number is 377 PXP (the amount required to get from 0 to level 1).

I think I slightly gave an incomplete reason before...
The reason I kinda want trash peerless 1h weapon for IW is because you always see it first in IW page and GF feels too long for me...
If I need to move to another category, I already have some other peerless lying around...

Yeah, every stat on an item contributes to its pxp, although the weights vary. The reason why Arcanist is so high is because it adds more than anything else, and PAB rolls are apparently pretty high weights.

Katalox staffs can be 368 PXP which I think is the lowest. Not all kataloxes are - Focus suffix is 371, for example.
