I found 10boros Bazaar Adventure rather amusing.

I regret killing it before finding out what the names of its special attacks were called.

Not really funny, but I've seen several monsters named for World War 2 German airplanes and engines. Whoever you are, I get the reference!

I have a strong feeling that I ran into Low-Grade Morning Wood during the summer months, but have not seen it since.

It is quite possible that my mind’s playing tricks on me, and my subconscious has constructed that name based on Morning Wood Fairy (which does exist for sure) and some other Hentaiverse in-jokes, such as Crude Plastic Axe of Mattel (one of my favorites so far).

Anyways, if LGMW does not exist, it definitely should.

Low Grade Morning Wood is DJNoni's, along with Mid Grade Morning Wood, High Grade Morning Wood, Morning Wood Pecker, Morning Wood, and The Morning Wood Fairy. The Morning Wood Fairy is the only one of them that is at a high enough level to be scanned regularly.

I always assumed that Maximum Joe's name was itself a play on "Average Joe", and I've spotted Minimum Joe often. But just recently I encountered "Utmost Joe", one of Lestion's monsters. (...) Lestion may have "Median Joe", but I have "Joe A La Mode", which should, if there were any justice, get mentioned the most of all the Joe variants in the list, plus you get ice cream...

I encountered Median Joe recently, and greatly appreciated the pun. I could swear I’ve seen at least one more statistics-Joe monster not mentioned by Sogeth, and would love to know how many there are... out there.

Well, Joe himself owns Minimum Joe, and I have 5 Joe-related monsters (although only 2 are statistical). I shan't give them myself since that ruins the fun of this thread (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) but they can be searched on [hvlist.niblseed.com] the monster database or in one of the monster analysis posts linked in my sig.

What about the wiki bit, "Only 1 monster should be named directly after an E-Hentai user"? Is it so that puns do not count? (I would wholeheartedly support that!) If they do not count, how is it even possible to name multiple monsters "directly" after somebody? Does that regulation refer to some notorious precedent?

Don't worry, there is no active policing of monster names, unless you are really overdoing it. Feel free to name a monster Noni The Relentless, Dart Noni, Double-O Noni and the Monster of Loch Lestion

I have seen some great names. Hard to remember them all. Below 200 I have just been farming like crazy. I did fight against Loli 6, Loli 9, 12 and 14 all in one encounter. The rng of that made me laugh. I think Ambitious Sperm Whale has been my greatest rival. I have fought him/her many times. Great name (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

A recent encounter is Boromarl.

While neither of the two word plays are world-class, the way they have been combined is worth a smirk. Or two.

I also appreciate monster names that make me learn new things. Encountering a Greek philosopher I had never heard of before was among the first. The most recent one is Cephalotus follicularis, probably named by the same person as Utricularia sandersonii.

Some funny monsters were disappeared，perhaps their masters forgot them，that's a pity.
