I saw in the WTB section people getting exactly 3 of the same figurines. Is there a reason for this?

It sounds like you only get one kind of chicken per battle type... I think green for Arena, for instance.

I notice the Easter event is not in the News section on the top page, or in the Twitter. Some people are in long-term lurk mode and relying on those to alert them to anything important.

1 for shrining, one for long-term preservation, one to take out and watch once in a while...that's how it is usually right?
