which fonts do you guys use for normal speech? In the past I used wild words but I imagine there are better ones

I tried kiss and tell, it's nice when you have large balloons but for the next manga i want to do it's too wide

I like the looks of kiss and tell font but yeah, it's kinda wide and........yeah, I know I'm being anal........at least the version I have of it doesn't have a tilde (gotta have a real tilde mark on a main font) and it has that freaking lower-case "i" going on in an all-caps font >_<

yeah, I can't have that, and making it a cap is just as bad for me. Vlothx, I see the version you're linking is the real thing, its "i" isn't like that......mine's a knock-off I guess, CCKissAndTellInt......yeah, that's nice, but jeez, that version costs 150 dollars too D:

Yeah, Wurmics isn't the prettiest or stylish of fonts, but it's about the most "narrow" normal font (one I find that's suitable for main convo) you're going to find and it's got at least some amount of style.

Mighty Z caps (for the same reasons) is what I'll use on thought/narration/any secondary "general" font needs.

Looks like a good one if you wanted it for mixed-case, handwritten spots.....nice and legible, got all the punctuation marks you'd normally need, it's even got accent characters for those who need them to any degree. You'd have to see how it performed using it for really small spots just to be sure........you know some fonts will start breaking up or looking progressively more shitty as they get smaller......but yeah, otherwise it looks good, it's got some style but not too much where it's hard to read or looks crazy.

if you want a good skinny dialogue font, then CC Totally Awesome is the font for you (lot more legible than wild words, and comes in 4 weights, unlike wurmics bravo), it's in the link I mentioned above.
