I'm noticing I can do better now against the new monsters but I still get seriously drained of HP. Cure is only useful if I have haste on as well, otherwise the monsters tend to do more damage than cure can...well cure.

I miss the exp that came from it. We get more exp for random encounters now but Im still down around 300exp an hour from missing GF

This seems a little too much for normal difficulty setting. I was brought down 400HP in the first round of attacks and after 1 monster missed. Cure only seemed to delay the inevitable, and would've only been useful if they all missed one after another.

3 6 Bamboo Attack hits you for 106 physical damage.

Well, a rare crit on the most power attack amongst common monsters doesn't say that much, but the overnight win/lose stats do indicate that I'll need to tweak the new damage formula slightly.

i just got smacked around for 4358 damage (and even that is because i got lucky and dodged a lot)
used 2 godly health potions and 2 godly mana potions (used shield, haste, shadow veil, and cure)
i understand hard is supposed to be more difficult, but being forced to use 4 good potions in one battle really sucks =<

@Tenb: If a status affect kills an enemy, it doesn't show how much damage that affect should've done (it's like how regular attacks used to be before you changed it). Not very important, but still a bug.

The hourly battles I can limp through on normal (don't even try hard any more) but the last rounds on arenas now are borderline infuriating. I find myself just curing over and over again until I can find one opening to attack and then repeating.

Also, no answer on question of whether or not we could get a defend option under skills. It really sucks that I always have to do something when I'd just rather sit there and let a potion do it's work or something and maybe raise my defense in the process for that turn. I know the last round of the an arena battle is going to be ass rape central so I'd rather go in a bit prepared if possible.

I gave up on the arena. I was just pissing away credits trying to do any over "A New Beginning". Basically it came down to the exact same scenario where at the end even with items all I was doing was curing. It may be just me, but it seems like mobs are resisting spells more often now. That's generally why I lose - I'll have a mob resist three times in a row, while it and its buddies are whaling on me.

I just got an ASHPD Portal Gun (My first special item (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) however when I hover or even try to select it nothing happens. Is this right for special items or is this a glitch

I'll never get an artifact. Then again, I don't do grindfest or a lot of arena battle. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I have no problems killing any group of enemies without legendaries on normal (4-5 monsters in a random battle can be rough, but more than doable), and I use very few cures or items. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

If I am to ever die with multiple enemy encounters (this goes for arena as well) it will be in the first 2-3 rounds. If not then they have little chance of winning against me, but this is probably just my playing style talking.

After the tweak this morning the win/loss ratio on random encounters on Normal went from 1 in 3 to 1 in 9, which is lower than before.

I sort the results by difficulty level.

Maybe. I can't imagine it being used much, so I don't know if it's worth my time.

The only fight Ive lost today happened just before when a Manthra and 3 of its friends butchered me. Normal is still easy to win it just takes a little more. Maybe you spoiled us before by making it too easy Tenbs (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
