I'm sorry for asking this in this topic as well, but I think it's better suited since the other one have misleading title.

Anyway, is it possible to export/import favourites galleries? And are they they stored in web browser?

Your system favorites are stored serverside, not clientside. You can import/export the current ones with a script gathering the fav'd links (this is performed clientside, so no server burden) but you'd have to find a way to synchronize them every now and then on your browser (also clientside).

Another option is build up a database (actual SQL database - preferred, browser local storage/indexed database - not recommended...) with your favorites and synchronize that but that's overkill (Firefox comes with Places sqlite management but the Places diagram is so broken it isn't even funny to query things within it and rebuilding your profile's Places from scratch can literally blow things up if you have dozens of thousands of bookmarks).
