You see this? I lost 5 friends in this HWMMV when haj decided to blow it the fuck up.
All 5 of them were VERY religious and devout christians.

War and faith in some higher being should imo be as far apart from each other as possible. Just in case you forgot or just cba to do your history lessons, remember the crusades? The crusades =! the church fucking up.

Also note the awesome similarities.
- Church fucked up, now the islam fucks up. 0 IQ gained in over 1500 years.
- They both used shitty excuses like "gods will" and "Martyrdom" to accomplish their goals.
- Faith is division. The moment you start believing in something (which is cool) and decide to join a "faction" (Christianity, Buddhism, etc etc, well maybe not Buddhism but still) you're immediately opposed to other "factions" which have different beliefs

I don't know what "God's plan" is, but God doesn't really do anything on Earth, he stopped providing miracles and stopped interacting with humans at some point in the Bible, also God doesn't control our actions, hence all the other crap in this world(murder,rape,burglary,ect). I don't believe in "fate", if I'm using the correct word(I don't believe God controls what happens to us).

erm, that was my point of view based on the news and shit i hear from people coming back from there.

I always separate religion and faith. I, for instance, have faith that religions are all full of bullshit.

BTW I do belive in a god's existance (don't know which one), but I agree with yoshin8tor: god is no longer involved in material events, not even know if he/she/it was ever involved.

Shut the Fuck up. God was there you moron! Just because you believe in God doesn't mean you're Immortal. Bad shit happens to good people. It's the way things are. You are a spoiled civilian child! You thought this could never happen to you and that's you're stupid fault. You should have been prepared the moment they signed those papers that they would never come back! Then when something bad happens you pin the blame of your pain on God. You're Pathetic. Pin the blame on them if you want, but they would have died one way or another. maybe sooner maybe later but it would have happened. Pin the blame on you, you're the one who didn't anticipate it happening. Learn to deal. It's sad that you're friends died but as a military brat all I can say it happens people die good people all the time, but you have to live you're life for them now.
