I've found about 60% less equipment since the .8 patch, both in grinds and arenas, despite having higher scavenger and qm now. `\(o_O)/`

It would be nice if the quality cap on restorative items had elixers re-enabled for arena bonuses. A standard restorative item, and lets face it, most of the time the arena bonus will be a restorative item, is really kinda depressing to get after completing a difficult, high risk arena.

Nowadays i barely beat dreamfall on normal, and endgame on hard is extremely hard for me.

D: that's a pretty pathetic clear bonus. Congrats anyways, and good to know battletoads isn't all that bad.

I'd try it but I moved abunch of ap to exp boost in a (slow, no stars or hath auras baww) mad dash for lvl 100. Once I hit 100 I can get my overcharge boost back and I'll give it a go.

I noticed you've been having a lot of trouble and I'm simply not o_O

I don't think I've really switched anything. Or not anything that would make a noticeable difference (changed cloth stuff around, but overall effect is likely the same). On the other hand, I have an offhand dagger with 16parry (which gets the +50% boost), and with my mainhand a Ruby Rapier 18% 3 turns, my parry is 38%. I use two cloth pieces and 3 heavy. One of the cloth has 8 evade, but what it replaced had much better defense, so it's a trade off.

The change in cure and regen made a huge difference - I can get much much further now. Earlier today I reset my ability trees and I'm still not sure if I'm going to get the holy ratings again. I tested it and my cure dropped 15%, averaging about 150 less than with the ratings, but the extra points were put into overcharge boost and mp tanks for now.

I've kept my STR, END, and DEX a ways above everything else, with AGI slightly behind and INT and WIS way behind. I think my proficiencies are helping a lot too, since I almost capped heavy and cloth is just slightly behind, which means heavy isn't quite so debilitating and cloth is a bit more useful than normal.

Dreamfall is much harder than longest journey, there's simply a huge jump there and there is no way I'm attempting that on hard.

For Exile I took 9 godly mana draughts, 2 mana elixirs, and 1 health elixir. I think I could've done it without the elixirs if I'd replaced them with godlies, I don't quite remember.

Sidenote: the gloves have 3 evade, the robes have 8. The rest comes from auras, the new title bonus, and I guess AGI or whatever gives you an evade bonus.

Doesn't surprise me. I parried Om Nom Nom the other day, which saved my ass, considering it's a boss spirit attack.

Remember that only around 11 of that evade comes from the cloth. I get 6 from my AGI (I think), and I get 2 from the Title. I also get about 6 parry because of my DEX.

Mainhand has 5.4 parry, offhand has 16.5. Offhand gets dual wield bonus and becomes 16.5*1.5 = 24.75. So my parry from weapons is 30.15.

Also, those heavy armors have some nice mitigations. I currently have 20% crushing, 30% slashing, and 20% piercing.

Also, I just beat dreamfall, and got a godly potion. Fuck me.

EDIT: I just beat exile and got a godly potion. This has to stop. I didn't even get a token of any sort.

Just achieved my highest level for a grindfest on normal, level 25.
On cake I've managed to get up to level 60 yesterday, but it was starting to get too tedious for me so I quit, but I probably could have handled another 20-30 rounds.

How'd you manage that? Every time I've beaten that arena, I've ended up using all of my Godly Draughts, and I have more item slots than you.

Full plate, Bleeder shortie and a Prism Kite. Keep the Boss Silenced, kill the minions, cast Cure/CureII/Regen/Shield/Spark/Absorb as needed.

Hmm. I'm using 1 plate 4 cloth (2 phase) and a 2h ethereal PA estoc. Before going into the last round a use a scroll of shielding, and then move on to the final. I then cast a festival of deprecating magic. After everything is sufficiently unable to do damage, I just go about the killing. I only have had to use 1 potion on the last round itself. If enough enemies are afflicted by PA at once I'll use soul harvest.

My interference is 16 and my burden is 20.

I start running out of MP about 3/4 of the way in from keeping Shield up and casting Regen/Cure once the mini-bosses start showing up. I pretty much use all of my items during that last round -- I stack Regen with Health Draughts, cast Cure II when my HP falls below a certain point and Cure otherwise, and Spark isn't cheap, either.
