FIrst round on grindfest and got 2 mini-bosses and a normal mob. Hurrahs for the crude heath druaght that dropped.

This seemed like the right place for this. The wiki arena page has been updated up to the latest arena (Thanks to Hito) however it now looks rather messy. Ive edited up to growing storm but will go no further until I get word of whether its better, worse or if it indeed needs changing at all.

Makes sense to me. The bold does stand out rather well.

And here I was having a little moan about starting off fighting 2 mini-bosses. That eve of death and to kill a god, meh I'll stick to the mini-bosses ^^;

It is pretty hard to read all those symbols. I think numbers or a table would be better, but the space limitations would have to make the table a little creative.

Ring of Blood 1: Manbearpig on Normal.

So I FINALLY found a token of blood. Fucking finally.

I'm actually a bit disappointed. I feel I could've done this on hard without too much difficulty. I DID get a nasty surprise when it used global warming on me and only used 1/4 of it's SP - that was a little tidbit the higher ups failed to mention (thankfully I had used spark of life two turns before). Other than that, 1 shield scroll and 1 godly mana draught, that for all intents and purposes could've been an average mana draught, were the only items I used. I am, however, a lot more confident now about trying out Endgame, although also a bit worried about weapon choice. I switched out my normal rapier - 22% chance PA for 1 turn, with a generally worse one that had 13% chance PA for 4 turns. I think that was very nice against the boss, but less useful against most mobs since they usually take 1-2 hits to kill anyway. My extra 6 godly mana draughts and 2 godly spirit draughts were untouched... and my overcharge didn't even fill all the way until literally 75% through the battle. Just felt like sharing this for those who haven't fought bosses before.

tl;dr: Bosses don't need full spirit bar to blast your ass into oblivion. Penetrated armor proc rocks.

Thanks for the tip, Bob. I'll probably give the Ring a shot once I get Spark (maybe Absorb if I'm feeling brave), since I'll probably get ass-raped while trying to get Silence to proc.

I finally beat endgame.. Kicking Manbearpig's ass a few minutes ago gave me the courage, and the first mana elixir I ever took to a battle gave me even more courage. Almost no 2nd winds. And with probably 40-50% of my spells fucking failing on the last 2 rounds >.< Otherwise I wouldn't have needed to use all the godly mana draughts I did, but good god, nothing would fricken stick. Resist, resist, resist, resist my non-existent ass. 12/30 spells were resisted, 3/30 were failed from interference. Sheesh. 50% deprecating spell failure rate while fighting a boss. Not. Fun. But I beat it. Whoot!

Well, fudge. 12 rounds into normal, a Mithra shows up and pounds my ass since I only had half HP and MP and none of my shields up.

45 rounds on Normal with 8 Godly Mana Draughts. I think I'll try a half-and-half HP and MP next run.
