It's not a race I can win. He got 100k+ EXP from beating the last round in those arenas, I barely crack 30k. His bonuses are massive and I'll never touch that. I'll be second place from here on out.

thing kept giving me 2nd winds

why even bother anymore? that must have been a boring and thankless hell since:

Arenas and Grindfest

- The round loot quality bonus has been capped at round 50

- Playing on easier difficulty ratings now places a significant penalty on the loot quality bonus normally given for reaching higher rounds, as well as on how many credits you gain from a battle

It's not a race I can win.

The gap is already larger than it seems with there being over one million EXP per level and climbing.

It's not about the level race but who is the first finishing the arena challenge though I doubt there is a finish line. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Now, I can't wait to see the mobs in that Arena Dreamfall, something that I believe only the chosen can see it with their own eyes. That, and I could speed it up by burning a few credits replaying Longest Journey a few times. That thing gave me like 435k EXP for beating it once. Or maybe it was from failing on round 30 and then beating it on the next try. I don't remember which, but it was a lot of EXP. And having to hope for a lesser legendary to win on these things is kinda BS.

Just beat Fresh Meat. Could go for the next one, but I don't like spending Godly Potions and Draughts, and up to now I didn't have to.

thought:
1.) arena adjusted so only the lesser legendaries show up in the challenges (at least until a level where we're able to beat them)

2.) a second arena with a list of legendaries that can be attempted (with an entry fee and reward)
along with a normal difficulty and level requirements (and an additional bonus for completions on higher difficulties)


i'd like the weapons/armors finished first tho (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I have wasted so many trying to beat fresh meat, it's driving me crazy. I don't have a large supply :(

EDIT: FUCKING ARG! I just decided to do a test of faith for the hell of it, and of course I get a string of MP second winds one after another. If I got that half as often during fresh meat I'd have nailed it already. It's very annoying actually, to get almost no second winds for maybe 15-20 rounds, and then get 5-10 one after another, because I will likely be on a lower arena level or grindfest trying to get some items after having been fucked over earlier by the lack of 2ndwind.

EDIT: Can't get past round 5 of Dark Skies, it's a credit and item waster at this point... might just wait 10 more levels for regen... :< Mini-bosses resist my spells 2-3 times and deal massive physical damage in the process.
