well I try to finish of tenticle monster first before I weaken the others, because weaken does nothing to it.

Weaken definitely affects tentacle monsters. As with all monsters, it only affects the physical attacks, not the magical attacks.

Round 6 is my best for grindfest.... and I've beaten A New Beginning in Arena on Normal difficulty. Not quite sure how I got that high though... at level 17 I did it with relativly little difficulty but now I get my ass handed to me.
Strategy wise, I only use physical attacks on monsters with no hp left, I only use single target spells because of the high mp cost and I got tired of half the targets per cast either being immune or resisting. The main reason for my death/flee is running out of mp, I suppose I could make it much higher in grindfest if I wanted to blow all my mana pots (Currently I only bring one, and then I only use it if I'm doing well) but I prefer to use them in arena since rewards are much better.
As stats go I'm specializing in Wis primary, Sta secondary and Int tertiary. Lack of mp being my primary concern and the amount of damage monsters do per hit being my second.
I use magic missile as my main attack, unless I have a spell they are weak too, again because of mp concerns.
One of the biggest problems I have is with "boss" monsters due to their resilience and damage. I can't kill them with spells fast enough to prevent them from killing me and since I almost never use physical attacks I don't have overcharge powered up enough to use spirit for a quick kill if they do show up...

Only used 4/5 of my items too

I reached up to level 9 in Grindfest. Got a lot of items from that.

My best was level 13 on cake. I got my Railgun from that. I managed to make it that far thanks to second winds that kept recovering my MP.

I barely have a whole lot of C and I lost 3000C! I only had 4 slots for my items and it's bullshit that I can't take more with me unless I pour $ into HV and train for ability slots!

Really, that's one thing that REALLY needs to change is the limit on item slots. Screw game balance if you barely have enough to keep you alive all the way through.

You don't have to donate a dime to this site if you don't want to and you don't have to spend time uploading if you don't want to, but don't bitch if you don't get everything out of the site that it has to offer.

I have 12 item slots but I have every Pack Rat level trained and every item slot ability unlocked. It's natural given the time I've put into the site that I get to have as many items as I do. If you do the time and put in the effort then you'll have that too but it damn sure doesn't need to change to suit you.

It feels like trying to get the "First" on a YouTube video, but I am always the 10-20 commenter when I find it. Even when I find a brand new post on one of the hentai sites I frequent, there's always somebody who uploads it a few hours before me.

After a while, I figured out it's pretty fucking pointless to post anything on the front page since there are many others who frequent even less trafficked and odd sites and will upload entire archives in one sitting. Not just that, but watchdog groups are sniffing out archives and expunging them, even when I tried uploading shit after doing a search with the name I got, a very similar named archive gets brought up and my archive gets expunged. Fuck the galleries.

Besides, I think that since Ten is changing out 6 servers at once to feed assholes like you, he needs a boost with the maintenance and upgrades. HV is much more fun then the gallery dash.

It is hard to find unposted galleries, I will admit that. But if it's too time consuming for you, then don't do it. Accept the fact that the senior members beat you to the punch and move on. And if you refuse to, then I suggest you make your own game.

"Entire archives" is not such a big deal for people that have faster than dial-up upload speeds. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

If you're looking for things to upload from high traffic sites, you might as well give up. Content like that is uploaded after it filters down through the interweb, so you are obviously not going to beat people that upload from the source. 99% of new content comes from non-english sites to begin with.

Its best to find the source sites and have live RSS feeds that update as often as possible. The only other thing that will help is a really fast internet connection. Unfortunately for me, my connection is shit, so Hitokiri beats me by like 2 minutes every time, rather annoying. I'm gonna upgrade to vios soon Also rather annoyed that the galleries are down right now, but it happens and you just gotta deal with it.

I pretty much already gave up on tryin to beat these guys on postin galleries, so I stick to the browsing thing. If my upload rate didn't completely suck I'd do H@H, but alas, the only service we can get around here is that of a leecher.
