I just used my normal Demon-fiend setup and soul burst. I'll bet with your setup you could do it close to 350 turns. I could have finished at ~400 but I wasn't sure if my mana would hold out so I was using ET and channeling.

6 FVs and 6 BGs used. Had one BG left over. If I had burned that last BG I probably could have done it in like 10 less turns. That was ridiculous. Unfortunately, it also means that since FSM has ~ 1.4 times as much HP, the strategy won't work as well against him. I'd still have several million HP I'd have to whittle down (and also no mana/spirit restoratives to use). Hmmmm.

FSM will take longer but then only use the BB/FV when you are out of mana. you'll have to use ET some but then its not going to take you 4000 turns to kill him

i did ~16k a turn
now you did ~25k a turn

I stabbed it to death with a rapier on normal and that took for fucking ever. I can't begin to imagine how annoying that would be on battletoads.

It might be possible, but would require an absurd investment in items. Basically, you'd need equip that's good enough where you can keep up with it's BT damage with JUST Lifestream + a bare minimum of debuffs. Burn god knows how many scrolls of gods and infusions. And hope your mana lasts long enough to whittle down 8 million HP. Wouldn't be fun though.

didn't you melee them the first time on BT? I recall seeing old posts with +4000 turns. But I can't remember if that was just normal or BT melee, maybe it was with a staff/mm/et.
