I definitely wasn't expecting there to be six boss monsters on "Fresh Meat" when "Blazing Field" only had two. Seriously. Defeated by the very last one because I didn't take enough potions. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Of course 11 slots are filled with mana items and 1 is a health elixir just in case.

Do you get Second Wind at all in Arena? I've never paid attention to that in arena, but I couldn't help but notice that I didn't even get a single one going through Blazing Field and Fresh Meat.

I seem to get a good bit, but it's nearly always health. While that's helpful and all, it usually doesn't do much to protect me from the onslaught of like a mob of 9 in Killzone.

I must have had some bad luck then. Some free magic would have really helped.

You should see my item list. I've got like 250+ of both Godly Health Potions and Draughts, but my Mana items are like 1's across the board.

i want ;_;. But the situation's similar here: every mana potion I come across is pretty much an insta-chug. I've been trying to wither out some of my spirit potions, but spirit is such utter fail as a casual weapon; it's designed to be the game-changer/battle-finisher/kill-the-boss-so-i-can-go-somewhere-else weapon. Perhaps we can get the balance adjusted some so we're getting more manas and healths than spirits?

I'm sure once the Item Shop opens it we'll have the ability to offload some of the stuff we don't use and buy stuff we can. I'd have no problem getting maybe 1 Godly Mana Potion for 10 Godly Health Potions or something.
Also, Spirit attack might be that for you but for me it's "get rid of one of the boss monsters in the last round of the arena so I don't get double penetrated by them".

I'm starting to build them up too. Grindfest is pretty generous with the Godly Healths. They've been useful for me, but then again I can understand your regen bring more effective than the pots as high as your proficiency is. BTW, do the proficiencies go past 100?

Curative currently at 103.15, so yes they go past 100. Haven't noticed a single difference as I go up though so right now it seems it's just a number. My Regen duration doesn't go up and my Cure can still do like 200 so nothing special from a high proficiency.

I know how you feel, ever since I got cure and shield, I've been accumulating a lot of health items, but I have very few mana items. Every time I see an HP item, I'm like "uggghhh, another one, give some freaking mana items for change"

It is known that proficiencies max out to your current level.

When weapon and armor proficiencies come into play, that's when we're all screwed trying to catch up.

Which is why I loved the idea of Tenboro creating statless items for us to use to level up our proficiencies before everything goes live. This post has been edited by Boggyb: Jun 14 2009, 22:39

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I know, I started H-verse at around level 16-17. Thanks to that my proficiencies are pretty damn except for supportive and curative which I just got recently.
