QUOTE(Conquest101 @ Sep 24 2010, 16:29) ![*](style_images/ambience/post_snapback.gif) I'd recommend Axe/Rapier over Katana/Wakizashi unless you have a ridiculously good set of the latter.
Definitely Axe/Rapier over Katana/Wakizashi. You must have some kind of insane good bleding niten set to overcome Axe/Rapier because of 2 things: The pitiful Wakizashi's bleeding will fuck up the Katana's bleeding, and this will worsen as you raise level/2W prof. You lose the extra damage from PA+poison, and if you use silence, the extra damage from mini-spirit attacks too, so the Katana's bleeding must be way superior to the Axe's bledding.

QUOTE(Conquest101 @ Sep 24 2010, 11:29) ![*](style_images/ambience/post_snapback.gif) PA does not affect bleed damage. If you're at the appropriate level and have access to Dark spells, you CAN use them to speed up the battle, but it's not necessary. I'd recommend Axe/Rapier over Katana/Wakizashi unless you have a ridiculously good set of the latter. You can usually find better bleed on an axe, and PA does help.
Keep in mind that if you're going to try it at as low of a level as Buktore did it, you should go with mitigation gear. I don't know if it'd be possible with a regular equip setup (you'd probably have to go ridiculous with the item usage at the very least, unless you wanted to do it the super slow mage way, but it'd take foreverx10 without Dark spells.
Here is my Katana and Wakizashi below. I'm not sure if you'd consider this good or not but the damage and stuff is scaled to my level. http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=cf6ae5e14dhttp://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=33366531f0I'm going to try it as soon as I reach level 100 so I'm making preparation right now. So I know I need Holy mitigation against Unicorn and Dark against Flying Spaghetti but what about Real Life? Is there a damage mitigation for Soul Damage as well? And what % mitigation is a good amount for all my armor together? Is it around 75-76% mitigation?

Yes, there is shielding-aura equipment for soul damage mitigation, but it's not worth it, since unlike the other 2 types, shielding-aura equip can usually only have 3-4% at best. In that sense, Real Life can actually be harder than IPU at least, since you can't mitigate its damage. Shoot for at around 70% at least. That much is pretty easy to acquire. I don't bother with it myself, but cmal, Sayo, etc. have some available in their shops.

If you really want to beat at that level, get all item slots, because you're gonna need them all, and more for FSM (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) QUOTE(shiki666 @ Sep 24 2010, 18:17) ![*](style_images/ambience/post_snapback.gif) And what % mitigation is a good amount for all my armor together? Considering you have all item slots, that should be enough for IPU, but for FSM if you don't bring around 90% you can't do it, IIRC had ~85%, and spend all items at level 130. Another thing, you need not only high 2W proficiency (which raise bleed damage), but also curative/supportive/deprecating proficiencies high as well. (I also bought an aura slot too.) I'll of course choose all the ability item slots if thats what your talking about. Here are my proficiencies below. I'm getting hooked to maging right now but I'll be sure to keep up my 2W. (I hope 85-90 proficiency is enough for when I reach 100.) And how much bleed for axe would you recommend? Should I be getting something the same as my katana like 300 bleed damage for axe? Also should I forget the elementalist armor and just wear my high evade silk to fight the gods? Do most people beat the Gods with Melee or a Staff? Real life, IPU, and meh I had only 67,4% dark mitigation against FSM, +80 dark mitigation should do the trick. QUOTE Do most people beat the Gods with Melee or a Staff? At low level with bleeding till now. Forget the elementalist stuff.

I did it with a staff, but I was considerably higher level. It also takes way longer and is boring as shit. Just do it with bleeding.

How long did it take you to beat them? It took me over 7,000 turns to beat the FSM on battletoads...

If you really wanna do RL on easy mode, here's what you do: 1) Use any setup that uses a PA rapier 2) Bring some Soul Stones, a Gum, and a Vase 3) Stay alive until you overload your OC 4) Proc PA 5) Use Gum and Vase 6) ??? 7) Profit
For extra lulz, bring an Infusion of Gaia along.

Umm you do know I only got 8 item slots right? I assume RL has around 120-150k HP on Normal and If I bring 2 Soul Stones, 1 Gum, 1 Vase, and 1 Gaia I only have 3 mana elixirs left. Do the Soul Stones stack OC? Can I get 300% OC with 2 Soul Stones added together? And even doing all that plus Gaia would that be enough to takeout RL? Or would it only do like 50% damage to his HP and I would have to finish off from there? I can't decide for 2W should I have the axe as the main hand or the rapier? Do I want to have bleed more often or is it better to have PA?

cmal is right, although it's funny since usually I'm the one who recommends that stuff lol OC is added, let one stone expire before you use the other. Use 5 stones, wait for PA proc (a rapier with +3 turns), then use the gum+vase, cast the spirit attack, RL will die. (you don't need mana elixirs)

I've already demonstrated the power of stacking Soul Stones with the Vase and Gum. You just need to stay alive until you reach critical OC. However, this tactic won't work as well against the other two gods. RL is specifically weak to Soul damage, so nuking it with a Super Spirit Attack is Super Effective.

Awesome! I'm definitely trying that on RL. Thanks!
