I beat Trio and the Tree on battletoads and didn't get any exquisite items!
But wait, it gets worse. It took me 1500 rounds to beat down the fates to almost no HP. BUT, I didn't know that the tree could restore their HP instantly. Yes, that's right, I had to all over again. Everyone gaze in wonder and horror at my epic failure of a victory.
