It actually got easier towards the end, once I started getting 4-5 mid-bosses each Round. I did burn five Godly Mana Draughts. I went with fighting efficiency over mana efficiency. It's a 20,000 C reward and I'll probably never do this Arena again. So, the loss of 5 high mana pots is not that important. The Rapier was nice but, my Prism one is better, even scaled down.

0 1 Initializing Grindfest (Round 72) Cakefest

What's so great about 72 rounds of Cakefest? I burned all of pots and MP in the First Round, spamming the Shield spell for proficiency farming, then I switched to melee, in Plate+Katana, with only a few MP and no pots, and lasted that long without Regen or the like until I got Mana Gems or Second Winds. Luck played a major role, to the point that at the end of Round 38, a Mana Second Wind brought me to full MP.

My usual results is 25 Rounds of melee, after the full mana burn.

Sealed Power cleared!
It cost me two potions and a shielding scroll... on a related note, Nerf is awesome. I killed MBP in three casts of
Flames of Loki.
Also, I beat all the arenas up to Sealed Power on above normal settings. Yay, me!

Flying Spaghetti Monster Devoured!

I used mkonji's method outlined here.
Basically, it's staff + evasion armor with lots of buffs and deprecating magic, and the occasional Banish.
I used four godly spirit draughts and two godly mana draughts (at the end, just to speed things up).
My evasion was around 40%, my staff (junk bought just for this) had 40% ether theft for 2 turns, my Divine prof is 90 something, but my shoes added 12 something. I rearranged my APs for the extra spirit points.
Total elapsed time: 4 hours and forty five minutes, with a few breaks for snacks, ect.

Cleared all arenas until Fest for Crows(included) on Hard setting without items (just before l150)
