My first attempt, difficult set on normal. Not harder as I was imagining, only used a scroll of avatar and a godly mana potion.

Is it normal to put your new henjutsu level manually? The setting -level default- keep me on lord instead of ascended (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Equipment-wise, I went in with my usual anti-Legendary gear: DW Eth Rapier-Axe, Phase Cap, Plate Cuirass, Silk Gloves, Kevlar Leggings and Boots. Used 3 Mana Elixirs, though the last one was pretty much wasted since I didn't bring anything less (I wanted to be prepared and its not like I've got hundreds of them gathering dust in my inventory). Everyone was Slowed and Nerfed, the Sisters were Weaken+Bewildered while the Tree was Silenced to keep it from healing. I just pummeled them all to within an inch of their lives before finishing them off one by one to minimize the effects of their death procs. It was actually pretty easy. Now to just finish off the FSM and I can semi-retire from HV until something new and shiny appears.

Huh, looks like there's a bad calculate in the round-end stats. Better fix that.

That's because Lord is the default. Ascended has to be earned.

Congrats!

Ascended (and higher) do have to be manually changed after earning the Title by clearing a specific Arena. Level Default only auto-changes below 100.

After some guys here made the craziest things like spending 1 week grinding for +1000 rounds, or hitting +700 rounds, or clearing trio and tree on battletoads, or even reaching level 100 from level 0 in 1 month, I decided to make something crazy myself: hitting the 3000C grindfest cap
Time to do it: less than 24h that's for sure, and too damn long
Items used: ~25 tokens of healing

When I started to haven't anymore C?
Never since there's no limit, once you pass it you still get credits, but look at this:

Edit2: Just sold out all the crappy equipments and non interesting items I got from this, plus I even got a artifact I didn't saw, so I got more +11.000C and +1 STR (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Items used: 7 Mana Elixirs, 2 Last Elixirs, 2 Gums, 1 Holy Infusion
Setup: DW Eth Rapier-Sword Chucks (26% crit chance so I can proc that ever-important PA), 78% Dark mitigation
Strategy: Silence+Slow+Nerf, plink away with normal attacks and mini-blasts. I might have been able to chop a few turns off if I'd used Poison, but I probably would have needed a few more Mana Elixirs (probably swap out the Gum for 'em).

What do I mean by semi-retire? Take it easy until a new patch introduces new stuff. Just gonna do some IWs to level my equipment, maybe the occasional arena.

Ouch, 8 mobs per turn, being 4 of them mini-bosses that really hurts, at least I could get to the last round without any items spent and with a decent MP left, but with 1 boss, 5 mini-bosses and 4 mobs that wasn't nearly enough (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)
Well if I have good luck with 2nd winds and gens I can clear without items, but that will take a while or another tier (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Speaking of the Trio+Tree fighting, for everyone else who's getting close.

PA+Poison works quite well against them. Better than against, say, Ryouko or Yuki. If you've got enough damage avoidance, you can actually let Poison do most of the work for you and just turtle or chip away, especially after you've debuffed them down. Its just mana-intensive.

As far as Legendaries go, they'd be similar to fighting Konata or Mikuru. I've had a harder time against Yuki than I have against all four. What makes it difficult is you're fighting four at once and you can't carelessly off them one at a time because of their death procs (they really didn't bother me, but I didn't fight them for long after I accidentally poisoned Ygg and Skuld to death).

The rounds leading up the the final battle also isn't too bad. Its way easier than the previous arenas. Just gotta watch your mana consumption, since debuffing consumes a lot of mana.

What's weird about those weaknesses (other than the tree being weak to Fire) is those are what their spell damage type is.

I didn't actually notice their death effects. Well, I noticed them appearing, but when you clear the round in 40 turns (more than 10 of which are devoted to casting spells on them), you don't tend to have much of a problem.

Oh, I also only used 3 Godly Mana Draughts to beat them.

Yes, well, not everyone is a mage who can hit them all in the same turn. Some of us have to hit things one at a time, though I think I spent more time casting debuffs (X-Nerf sure did help, though) than I really needed to kill them to death. Their death effects really weren't a big deal, except maybe the one that raises defense, that one might be annoying.

I think Hito said something about ~70+ Legendaries and 1 Boss total (with the Boss in the last round) back when he first cleared it. From what I remember (can't be assed to search the thread, so someone else can confirm), the last round has a Legendary and a Boss.
