I employed my new Boss Killer Tactic: PA+Gaia+Magic It was 73% dead after three turns, then PA ran out, then MP ran out, and I was out of Mana pots so, I meleed the last few turns. First 3 turns were Cast Spark, use my last Mana Pot, Use Infusion of Gaia. I forgot to use a Scroll of Avatar and I used my usual grinding pots, with a Godly Mana Potion replacing a Superior. This set-up almost cost me, as I was in the Red Zone health-wise myself with 7 MP and no pots at the end. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Next time I'll bring Superiors and leave the unused Scroll of Gods behind.

Yay! New Tactic!

Yeah, I did Endgame, and it was taking too much effort. Maybe if I had more elementalist gear or something it would be better.

Yeah, I do probably have a rather optimized gear situation, with +104 elem prof and all. I accidentally had my 2H prof-gaining gear (mishmash of leather, heavy, and my longsword) on when I went into Longest Journey the other day. I was dealing no more than half my normal damage with Thunderstorm. So I can see why Hard would be tougher for you than I expected.

I got pretty lucky with lots of Mana second winds and Mana Gems. By round 150, I was at almost full mana, but the Cure II's I had to cast after getting hammered so hard ate through my mana like crazy at the end.

Pink Unicorn Defeated!

It was a long grueling battle, but I persevered.
I used DW ax/rapier with tri-bless armor, and silence and slow.
Even with slow I couldn't quite keep up with the damage and had to cast
cure every so often. At the end I needed only a few more MPs to ensure
victory but only had a last elixir left, thus the spirit attack at the end.

All that's left on my plate now is the Flying Spaghetti Monster. (get it?)

Second Try. First Try was as a DW Rapier+Dagger Mage. Neither the Rapier nor Elem magic could do enough damage, the Mind Rapers kept resisting, and finally Toddlerguro got me for 45% plus two 8% shots killed me about two/thirds in. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

So, this time, I amped up my mana supply, and brought my Elemental GodStick. I did run into some trouble in the middle from constantly casting magic, thus constantly being low on MP but, I resolved that by going whack-a-mole on a mid-boss for five turns while a draught drained.

I dropped Gaia one round early and then got Mithra, the one Boss Gaia doesn't work against. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Still it got rid of the cannon fodder quickly (2 magic shots cleared the CF) and did sort of help me win in the end. Gaia's quick handling of the CF left me with a few more Soul Harvests at the end, which made the difference, as I ran out of MP and pots and had to whack-a-mole my way to the end, and you may have noticed that Spark went off at the end, too.

Notice the 8s in the battle log's final turn? Yeah, it took me 8 turns to kill 3 bosses and 5 minis. Gaia+Vase+Bubble Gum causes my own personal brand of Horrible Rape.

For example:
4 9 Flames of Loki blasts Manbearpig for 36474 fire damage.
That's over 1/3 of his HP. Needless to say, these bosses crumpled to the fury of my onslaught.

Not much impressive from the point of high level guys, but still that's my performance:

The only items I used to clear EndGame/Twisted Plots was Superior Mana Draughts.
I won't do Twisted Plots on Heroic so soon, because I got an extremely luck on getting 2nd winds and mana/mistic gems, to clear it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I just did Sealed Power without items. Its funny, some arenas are easier than others even when they have more rounds and more bosses.

I can clear Twisted plots without items, but only if 1HS, Longest Journey appears to be a lot longer,
so just out of curiosity, how did you do? I mean maging, battlecasting, or melee?

I did it as a mage. I've been using this staff recently, instead of an Elementalist one, because I wanted to see if the higher chance of Ether Theft made any difference. It seems to be working quite well.
