Thanks for reminding me to update the wiki for Ryouko and Yuki, folks. I'd forgotten that they aren't physical-immune any more.

I also managed to easily clear Sealed Power on Hard today, so I'm gonna try it on Heroic tomorrow. It takes a LOT longer to clear on Hard, though, so I may stick with Normal for everyday clears.

They don't resist physical damage anymore, but still, your physical attacks are going to do much less damage than normal. If by chance you can defeat Mikuru quite easily (I mean using a few mid mana items), you can try the others, with high level mana items like elixirs.

So Konata and Mikuru are "a lot" easier than Ryouko and Yuki?

I've defeated the first 4 level of RoB without any items and only with half of my MP, Konata required much more?

60 rounds is a lot. I had to chug 7 superior mana pots and 3 godlies, but I got a pretty terrible number of mana gems and second winds, so I can probably do a lot better than that. Crazy good credit and exp gains, though. I got about 2000c just from that run, not counting the first-clear bonus, plus 1700 from selling the staffs I got off the boss trophies.

I think that Mikuru will wait a while and Ryouko and Yuki instead will wait for a long time, I need more abilties.

To answer your question, yes Konata is a lot easier than Mikuru, since Mikuru is much faster and have a little more HP.
Ryouko and Yuki are very similar to Mikuru, in terms of speed, HP, and strength, just a little more than Mikuru,
But want makes both more dificult than Mikuru are their higher barreir, making physical attacks less effective.
In other words, you'll have to do more attacks to kill Ryouko and Yuki, than Mikuru.

Edit: Don't use HP items, use MP items instead, because the mana recovered, can give you more HP than a HP item would.

First Ever Legendary Kill.

"Konata is a slight increase in difficulty above the Bosses?!!" She was a hell of a lot harder then the Boss RoBs, which I breezed through. I burned 4 Godly Mana Potions having to recast Support/Depreciating Spells, and a Health Elixir when Absorb failed to catch a non-Crit Timotei. Damn, I must have spent a third of my turns casting some kind of S/D spell.

Used a Scroll of Avatar and the Gods, and later Scroll of Life. Two Mana Elixirs were unused. Spark never did go off.

DW - Rapier + Dagger. 4 Cloth (3 Elem + 1 Cheetah) + 1 Thunder-Child Plate. Ironically, no Elem magic used by me, and no successful Electric Petanko Smash.

Konata Cleared!

Absorb (with 5 AP) only has a 75% chance to catch spells. Out of curiosity, how much does Absorb cost for you to cast?

I guess this depends on perspective. I didn't find her to be much harder than the bosses, back at that level, but by harder I mean "more difficult to kill." She took longer to kill, sure, but it wasn't any more difficult than fighting, say, Dalek. While I found Mikuru, and especially Ryouko and Yuki, much harder to kill than Konata.

I just hit 75 and felt like bitch slapping her for failing to make me laugh during the Lucky Star OVA.

I used four godly mana pots, avatar scroll and a god scroll. Nothing she could throw at me would 1HKO but I'm not sure if I should go straight for Mikuru yet.

Considerably more difficult. I used everything but the mana elixir I had packed (consumed 6x godly mana draughts, 1 avatar scroll, 1 god scroll). Scroll spark triggered towards the end of the fight (glad to know it doesn't require SP as I was out). Her fourth spirit attack connected and did more than my life even with bewilder up. If the other two are supposed to be even harder I don't believe I stand a chance as I am now.

OK, I lied; I did use 1 Greater Mana Draught, but that's because I ran into ManBearPig in round 80. Bosses on Hard simply take shitloads of mana to take down, especially when their weakened melee attacks hit for 600+. The draught didn't leave me with any more mana than what I had when I started the round, though, so it doesn't really count.

With the Bosses, I dropped a few scrolls and then went at them with DW PA+Poison+Bleed and Regen up. Regen was usually enough to counter their Attack damage. I even forgot to Weaken one of them until halfway through. With Konata, I had to casting Support and Depreciating spells and had to cast Cure II a few times, and never with a Boss RoB. The Bosses are much, much easier, unless you forgot to switch out your staff for your Rapir and Dagger like this...

Endgame Cleared as a Mage

Only my second attempt at Endgame. While I was building up my Overcharge in Round 1, I noticed I was doing Crushing damage (Rapiers do Piercing). "Oh, fuck, this is not going to be fun." So, I ended up going 7 Rounds of Whack-a-Mole with my Staff, before switching to Elemental Magic when the mid-bosses arrived. I continued that until I cleared the regular mobs and mid-bosses from the Final Round. I started the Final Round with Spark of Life, good decision, as it sparked on turn 10. Shortly afterwards, I remembered I had a Scroll of the Avatar and the Gods and used both. (D'err) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Anyways, lots of casting Weaken, Bewilder, Poison, and Soul Harvest, plus an Absorb, several Ether Thefts and Ripened Souls and another Spark going off later...

I cleared Twisted Plots on my first try last night. It went much smoother than the Konata battle, even used two less Mana Elixir.
