About to do the next one on battletoads. Kinda want to use my club of stunning, except there are several problems.

1. It's now 25%3turn instead of 35%5turn :'(
2. If I have it replace my mainhand it'll proc often enough, but the battle will take forever because I won't be using PA
3. If I have it replace my offhand I lose like 30 Parry and it will only proc on 1/4 of offhand strikes, which means about 1/10 hits, which isn't enough :\

Took 2 godly mana draughts, but I had some MP left over, so probably could've gone with 1 godly and 1 superior. I'm perfectly willing to pay those for it to take 1/2 the time lol.

*sigh* I'm just not gonna get another awesome piece of equipment for a long time I guess.

OK, the verdict is in: definitely not a good idea to replace the rapier of death with the club of awesome stunning. At 35%5turns, it was able to proc often enough and long enough that I could use weaken and silence (now bewilder) less often than was strictly necessary. That's no longer really true. Rapiers it shall be. Especially since I also lose the increased poison damage. :\

It was my second attempt and I took an Infusion of Gaia with me this time and that did the trick. I didn't even need to use my spirit attack at all.

25% bleed 4 turns around 180 damage or something. I was surprised that even with PA procced i still only did 1 damage.

Yeah, unless you're using an ethereal, even PA'd attacks will only do 1 dmg, but I think that starts at Yuki.

Naw on most of the "regular" legendaries PA attacks do like 100ish, as long as they aren't piercing/slashing resistant. I tried it out with my regular weps a while back to check how viable using an infusion of gaia was.

I doubt anything changed as far as the monsters, but having like 5x the attack rating compared to what I had the first time I tried a legendary probably makes a pretty big difference.

The regular legendaries are the same aside from the reduced magic and spirit damage, but IPU and FSM were significantly weakened back when Bewilder was created (thanks to no Weaken + Silence.) And by significantly, I mean they literally have less than half as much health, have reduced physical attacks, and take far more damage from your own physical attacks and poison. They've been reduced from the point where I used to need 10+ mana elixirs to beat FSM to only needing 5 greater draughts. Basically, if I can beat IPU without items now, then anyone above the mid-100 levels should be able to beat it without much trouble as well.
