I give up. I'm going back to doing this crap on Heroic and Nightmare, it's just not worth it.

It would probably take me 8 mana elixirs and 8 health elixirs and like 3 soul stones to beat power flux on battltoads, I have no idea how Uth did it. Also, as I've said before, Endgame is generally easier on higher difficulties than power flux, so you might not have too bad a time trying it Uth.

Endgame is really the only thing that gave me any trouble. If you think 800 slashing damage with Weaken up is bad, you definitely won't want to know what Piercing damage does to you.

Ya White bunnah was hitting me for almost 1k...

Even Endgame would be super easy if not for the boss smashing you while getting rid of the other enemies. I'll probably even start taking on page 2 with battletoads soon since the boss round is really the only thing that uses up mana items for me.

for killzone I needed 8 godly mana draughts and 3 mana elixirs, 1 scroll of the gods, and 1 scroll of the avatar.

But ya the big thing with Endgame is the boss...it would probably take 100+ rounds just to kill all the other guys with him, I'm just not sure I can stay up that long with a boss hitting me for 700-1000. Plus having to deal with the spirit attack for that long would be a huge mana drain.

Was gonna wait to try Dark Skies until I either got another Aura Slot, a new Aura entirely, or another item slot. But I decided since I had a couple of Greater Mana Draughts lying around, I'd take my chances.

Of course it came down to me, a Peacock, a Hamster, and a Canuck, the worse possible combo so far for my Mage build. It's probably my fault for only using Weaken on the minibosses.

Didn't expect to be wowed by the rewards, but right now I'm just glad I finally reached the point where the Clear Bonus is more than the Entry Cost. Though, since this was my first time trying, for all I know, I could've done this a week ago.

...well, since I pretty much level up every day or two, probably not.

Just Cleared Endgame on Hell, needed 7 godly mana draughts, and the last round took 237 turns..... Guess I'll slowly work my way up to trying it on Battletoads.

Crusade cleared, man that last round is kinda rough, used 1 greater, 4 superior and 1 godly mana draughts total, needed 1 greater and 1 superior to make it to round 69....

Crusade only takes me 1-2 superior mana draughts and a scroll of shielding, usually only 1 draught if I take a scroll of swiftness too, and I usually don't need to use the draught until the last round. It's definitely easier than both Sealed Power and New Wings. Yet you can do Endgame on Hell, which I probably can't without all godlies. Weiiird.

Thinking on it now, I could probably do it (Crusade, not Endgame Hell) with a single greater mana draught and two average spirit draughts (which I have a stacks of).

On the other hand, I have not got a single piece of equipment from crusade, it's making me very sad :'(

Also, my last attempt doing it had two lvl.172 bosses and one lvl.171 boss (I'm 172), and took one superior mana draught. Godly Draught in return *sigh*.

Well the past few times its taken 2-3 greater mana draughts, that first time I was just super cautious, so I used more mana then I really needed, now I usually don't need any potions till that last round, I guess I could probably cut that down if I wanted to spirit nuke one of the bosses down right away. I've only gotten cotton crap from Crusade so far... If I got decent second winds I might be able to do it without any items but I don't seem to get any mana second winds after round 20...

Oh and the biggest reason I can probably do the harder settings when you can't is the way my gear is setup I take less dmg then you at battletoads, but probably take slightly more then you at normal. Since my mitigation is low but my evade is high.

Yeah, you have 38% evade. On the other hand, I have 27% evade, 48% parry and 36% resist, so I'm not that far behind you in that regard (possibly ahead of you in parry). And yeah, I have higher mitigations than you.

My first crusade equipment, done on Hard, and it's a fine shortsword. Great. Yay4equipment, but was hoping for maybe, something, a little closer to, idk, Superior Equipment of Usefulness and Rarity. *sigh* Superior stuff is ridiculously hard to come by these days. 1 piece since 4.1.

I guess it's a decent shortsword. Lots of bleed (from my experience with them), and 9 Dexterity. But still not something I'd probably use... maybe as a mainhand for normal item world, but no real parry, so it's not taking the offhand.

I just beat it on Hard too, took me 9 mana draughts and a couple scrolls, although I might have been able to cut that down if I swapped to the gear set I use for Battletoads.

I think I could probably go down by one, given the absorb fixes. All together I've gone the middle ground between dodging and taking hits; 28% evade, 49% parry, and 36% resist (but with decent mitigations) means spells should not be hitting me all that often, and when they do, absorb should now take care of them. We'll see later today when I try it again. I might also swap out for my new (otherwise sucky) 25%4turn rapier I found. On harder difficulties, where mini-bosses simply have so much more HP than before, being able to have PA more often might make it easier (though the added burden and interference from no longer using an ethereal is not welcome).

To be fair, I did it before the update as well, so I could probably reduce that by one. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I still need to check out exactly how much I'm saving thanks to the Absorb changes, but I'm pretty sure it's a decent amount considering how often it was triggering when the attacks didn't actually hit and how small of a percentage it was returning more often than not.

Not my night at all. Endgame through Dreamfall on Heroic, and godly draughts for each reward, then crappy reward for Exile on hard.

... some 240 times was boring and took several hours. 3-4 hours whacking with a Staff is not fun. The Shrine visit wasn't too rewarding either. I blasted the flunkies off the playing field first, then started the long grind against her.

TWISTED PLOTS CLEARED! Vindication for the idiotic loss in Endgame earlier. It only took 4 Godly Mana Draughts and a Scroll of Shielding, too, thanks to a few SW. I wonder if I should attempt Longest Journey...

Longest Journey cleared! Deflowered Mithra after 140 turns, 6 Godly Mana Draughts (probably could have used only 5 and a Godly Health Draught), and a Shield scroll. I love Counter-Attack so much, I've gotten farther now than I ever could before.
