Ya that didn't go so well wasted a soul stone and 4 mana elixirs before I gave up (didn't see the sense in wasting the other 6 mana elixirs I brought), he still had 25% of his health left and I was at about 500 turns. SO obviously Hito hits much harder then me, and it looks like he probably has more dark mitigation, mine is a little below 70%, plus my measly 5 dark rating.

You mean he only lost 25% by then? That would make more sense. And yeah I have 75% mitigation plus 27% rating (though I really doubt I had ~88.5% mitigation since I was still being crit for 500-600. I smell more multiplicative calculation BS.) Then if you factor in my attack rating and proficiencies... maybe saying they are run-of-the-mill is a little misleading. At the very least, their defense is less than half as strong as the first time I defeated them.

Ugh. I feel horribly cheated after about a week of preparation for what I thought would be a strong EoD run. Soul Stones, Dark and Cold ratings maxed, extra dark mitigation, etc, etc.

For having used 8 Soul Stones, it sure isn't doing a whole lot of extra damage from what I do with zero Soul Stones.

A good no PA / with PA look. I could really use some screens of the damage I do without soul stones.

and then I ran out of Elixris on about round 96/150 (Note: only about 5 rounds farther than I get with just godly mana draughts.)

I smell some BS going on here. Making Weaken + Silence unavailable makes EoD a completely broken and impossible challenge since there's no way to defend against such a large variety of powerful attacks for that long, and increasing my own damage will obviously not work since the Stones did jack. I also think there should be more item slots available for such a challenge since the challenge at level 150 (Sealed Power; 50 rounds, 2 bosses) is worlds apart from from End of Days (150 rounds, ?? legendaries [min 75]), yet there are only 13 slots available for both.

Are you slightly gimping what your normal dmg is cause your wearing some resist gear?? That might explain the somewhat "weak" attacks. And I'm just curious why you don't silence instead of weaken, I've only fought them in ring of blood, but they seemed easier with silence....although their spirit attacks can 1-shot me so its kind of the only way I can beat them...

1) No, I'm not using any resist gear.

2) I tired the Silence approach for about 20 turns and said "fuck that" after I got crit for 1000+ attacks twice in a row. I think you know what kind of armors I already have, so using Silence instead of Weaken is completely out of the question with the multiplicative mitigation calculation BS.

I don't expect anyone cares, but I just cleared Killzone. I nearly forgot there was a new challenge available... Not knowing what to expect (the Wiki was completely wrong about the previous challenge) I took Godly Mana Draughts, and some Elixirs just in case. Used 4 Godlies. That's actually one less item than I needed when I did Power Flux the first time. Mind you, I'm wearing three new pieces of armour, which might have helped a bit.

Well, I'm off to correct the Wiki again.

I just did 186 rounds in Item World on Normal (one more round than last time). OMG it's insanity, I tell you.

Speaking of which, of sorts, the first two times I did Arena #1 on Hell, I got "Lesser Health Potion" and "Lesser Health Draught". WTFU with that? Hell, the last three days worth of Arenas have been suctacular in drops/clear bonuses.

I just did it on Battletoads and got... you guessed it, a Lesser Health Potion.

Edit: Good thing: as long as I can keep Weaken on, she is hitting me for 0 (zero) damage. Bad thing: I hit it only for 6-9 damage... And I brought only 2 mana bottles...

Edit2: Unsurprisingly, she killed me. On the bright side, I managed to chip away whole 1/3 of her HP! With the Staff!!! And got A LOT of prof increases along the way.
From now on I'll be wiser and would not enter the above-normal IWs with inappropriate set of items and equip.
