Bring elixirs. Don't use heavy armor.

I was a bit cocky on my first go and brought only godly mana draughts, and ended up dying 10 hits away from victory. Other than armor, theres no real different strategy needed as long as you already have a solid legendary killing method you're confident in. Real Life is exactly the same as every other legendary you face, just with more hp and higher damage, and its regular attack type is spirit so heavy armor is worth pretty much jack all against it.

I would've been fine with godly draughts if I hadn't done it on hard. 530,000HP was just too much ;_;

Then again, I had him stunned a lot.

I like your weapon combo better than even hito's set. Its kinda unfair to use yourself as a standard anymore. lol.

Today I finally Beaten Blazing Field
Lvl 31
Used magic almost exclusively during whole battle
Had a luck for 2 MP Second Winds and 1 HP Second Wind
Used
1x Godly Health Draught
1x Godly Health Potion [In final round so I was able to cast during whole duration with lesser chance to be instant wiped (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)]
1x Superior Mana Draught

And also [not used in the end]
1x Godly Mana Draught, 1x Godly Mana Potion

I used all AOE and Single Target spells maxed aviable to my lvl [With exception of poison]

Now I feel like real mage (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) [My HP goes down rapidly but theyrs too]

Praise the tenboro for powering up our elemental magics [not really but with this mana cost it is posible to use it even in long arenas and win (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)]

Power Flux cleared.

Items used: 3 Godly Mana Potions, 2 Godly Mana Draughts. Didn't need to touch the two Elixirs I brought along.

I was wondering how the 0.4 changes would affect my chances, but it looks as though they've made things significantly easier overall. (Apocalypse Soon was harder when I did it at level 70.) Yay for reduced AoE cost.

BTW there are about three times as many mini-bosses in this one as the Wiki says. I'd better update it...

The first time I tried it, I used 11 Godly mana items and 2 Mana elixirs and ran out when MBP had out 5-10 hits worth of health left (the bosses become stronger than Lengendaries on Normal.)

The second time I tried it, I took 10 Godly and 3 Elixirs. I had all 3 Elixirs remaining going into the final round and promptly got raped by White Bunneh piercing damage (hitting me for 600-800 per turn with Weaken.)

The third time I tried again with 10 and 3 and ended up being killed by some freak Moo crit by Zombie Cow through my Absorb on round 17. 2600 damage or some nonsense like that.

4th and final time, I played it safe with 9 Godly and 4 Elixir, used more depreciating/supportive than I had to, and I also ended up with MBP again, so it was a little easier with the slashing damage. I threw in a couple of Haste + Haste Scrolls on the final round too to get rid of the lesser monsters without taking a ton of damage.

I made it to Level 18 on NormalFest for the first time. The Rise of the Magi is true. This is a few levels higher then I could do as a Tank.

I actually find endgame to be much easier than killzone, especially on harder difficulties.

By the way, this shows the wiki is wrong, since Endgame only has 19 rounds listed (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I knew there were some arena wiki parts that needed fixing. I'll correct it when I next do endgame.

The point is, you fight fewer monsters per round on endgame then you do on killzone. On harder difficulties it is much, much easier if there's a smaller number of monsters, even if they are more powerful. You see all those "6^^"'s on Endgame? No? I didn't think so.

It's possible this doesn't hold true for everyone. I can see how it could be different for two-handed players and mages, but for dual wield and 1hand, where you're generally limited to attacking one monster at a time, increasing average number of mobs per round has a enormous impact on difficulty.

That's why the jump from Dreamfall to Exile is so huge; it's not simply the number of rounds or the number of mini-bosses per round, but the general number of regular mobs along side them. It's also why the jump from Exile to Feast for Crows isn't quite as painful.

There's a bit more intricate reason to this too: besides the obvious fact they simply cause more damage, when there are lots of regular mobs they cause absorb to be activated by relatively harmless spells like haunt, bukkake and bouip instead of by MeH, Moo, or Toddlerguro, and that's very painful and means absorb has to be cast more often.

I'll take 4 mini-bosses over 3minibosses + 3 regular mobs any day.

I might, but I'd have to be a complete moron to try it on Battletoads (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I can beat it up to Heroic without feeling too stressed, and could probably go up to Nightmare if I were willing to spend the mana items for it.

tldr; I find Endgame on Hard easier and less mana costly then Killzone on Normal.
