Sorry guys, I didn't do enough testing again and it looks like most galleries are sending 404s, trying to fix this now but it's 5:00 AM here so it might take another couple hours.

Ok guys, sorry about not being able to read galleries in the previous update (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif). They are fixed now (and more testing done).

Update 17:

• Fixed galleries returning 404
• Genre filters are now saved on app restart

How do I login to get my favorites? I put my login in and it opens a window and I put my credentials in, it loads the window and below I just have cancel and recheck.

Do not use plugins for logging in.

Sorry, but if you are logging in to sync your favourites, it's not going to work because I haven't implemented that yet (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif).

I can look into this later but syncing favourites is a really complex task and the fact that E-Hentai has no API hinders progress even more.

I've fixed some more bugs however so I'm looking for an excuse to make another release (I don't want to annoy users by releasing updates too often) and this might just do it!

Hello NerdNumber9, thank you for your efforts on the application, I have two questions for you:
1. Do you plan to migrate the application to GitHub or the likes?
2. Does the application has an official name? Or is it simply called EHentai Galleries Reader?

Btw, I personally think it's better to stylize the EHentai part as E-Hentai, as shown on the home page.

What happens when you try to download the update? It was probably because I temporarily switched the update server to a (very slow) Canadian server as my old server was out of space. I'll switch it back now. Can you try again?

I'm not a developer, so apologies if this is a dumb question... Is there a google play store policy prohibiting this kind of app, or is there some other reason not to publish to play store (or other stores, eg. amazon app store) as well?

Good to hear that. On one occasion someone on the E-H IRC channel mistakenly spent a few bucks on ehentai.org rather than the true e-hentai.org, luckily some people found the mistake and and told him...

I'm not even going to try as I'm almost 100% sure that this is the case (I don't want another strike on my developer account). Even the official Tachiyomi app is not published on the Play Store!

I've got a couple other anime related apps pulled from the Play Store too with no concrete reason.

Now that you mention it, I can (and will) try the Amazon app store. Their policies are a lot more reasonable and all of my apps have been successfully published on there without any hiccups.

I'll try publishing this on F-Droid too after I push it to Github...

OK, looks like my IPFS daemon died. I've moved the link to a temporary file host since I don't have access to a computer for now. I'll move it to a permanent direct link tomorrow.

This happens when your internet connection is bad or when a Hentai@Home server goes down while you are downloading a gallery.

If this happens the only way to fix it is by clearing the chapter cache by going to Settings > Advanced > Clear chapter cache. Then you can start the download again.
