Batch adding nhentai and perveden links are planned. I'm also trying to come up with an easier way to add individual links.

Sorry for the late release. I've just been too busy lately...

Update v6.1.1:

• Rewrite batch add screen
• Add nhentai link import support
• Add the ability to import links by typing them into the search bar in the galleries screen
• Increase library tag search speed
• Rewrite app lock UI (has a cool animation now (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif))
• Add fingerprint support to app lock
• Many bug fixes
• Various performance improvements

Note that in this release, in an effort to make library tag searching faster, I've migrated the app to a new database system. You will have to redownload the library metadata to enable library tag searching again. The app will ask you on startup to do this but if you need to do it manually for some reason, the option can be found in: Settings > E-Hentai > Migrate library metadata.

Have to make another release already (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . Somehow didn't realize that I broke nhentai and PervEden in the last release. Fixed now.

I posted this into the main E-Hentai.org update thread believing it to be a site-side bug/glitch, but they've redirected me here, believing it might have been caused app-side.

So this is a bit mysterious.

I have had my favorites sorted for quite some time now, and had e-hentai/EH and the Tachiyomi app play extremely well together thus far.

Right now however I found that Tachiyomi itself seemed to have reset to factory defaults. This was not necessarily a problem, except all of my favorites are now reduced to the 0th / Black category. I myself have not done this, nor I can I imagine what I might have done to trigger this.

Just wondering if there was somekind of server code update to cause this on EH's side?

While clearing all database data from within the Android -> Settings -> Apps menu will wipe the Tachiyomi app itself clear, requiring a fresh login and re-setting of all previous UI one had before, this does not affect how E-Hentai stores my bookmarks.

This is a little weird but I can pretty much 100% promise you that this is not an app problem. This app does not even have that functionality built into it currently! It does have the ability to download your favorites from the E-hentai servers but it doesn't work properly and I don't think a lot of people use it. It's hidden in the top-left menu in the library screen. There is no ability to modify your favorites on the E-hentai servers. There was an old attempt by me to write an algorithm to sync your Tachiyomi favorites and your E-hentai favorites but this was never completed and I disabled that particular chunk of code several months ago...

There exists a way in which you can send a well crafted POST to the website which will perform this for you. Might be the app, may be a random userscript, debug we must.

Ah. Quite.
I must admit I did not check this, everything bookmarked on my account through the browser is only in the 0th category.
Now the fault lies with me as I must have reclicked the "download favorites" a second time without realizing it would completely wipe what Tachiyomi had stored. I always assumed that there was two-way syncing anyway so I didn't have any reason to suspect the problem could lie with my bookmarking on the site itself.

It is good to see there are possible solutions to allow two-way syncing in a later update for Tachiyomi ^^

Since we now know that two way syncing does not exist, nothing new I bookmarked through Tachiyomi (EH or ExH content) has been saved to my profile on EH's servers.

Yet despite clearing the cache and userdata on the app (in a foolhardy effort to recover space on my phone), the extra bookmarked stuff was still there after inputting my EH credentials, so I assume this data must be saved locally somewhere on ones phone.
However redownloading my bookmarks using the in-app "download bookmars" function will erase all current bookmarks I have, and sync anew from EH.

If you press "Clear chapter cache" or "Clear cookies" in the "Settings > Advanced" section in the app, you are only clearing temporary files that TachiyomiEH uses to speed up browsing so none of the information about your favorites is actually touched.

If you press "Clear library metadata" in the "Settings > Advanced" section in the app, you can free up a couple extra megabytes of storage but it also deletes the information required to search by tags in the library. Tag searching in the library is actually pretty awesome so I would recommend you avoid doing this.

If you press "Clear database" in the "Settings > Advanced" section in the app, you will delete your "last page read" information on any galleries you do not have favorited. Again, your favorites are never touched.

TachiyomiEH itself never gives you any options to clear your favorites. Android does however; if you clear the app's data from your phone's settings section, you will delete all favorites stored on your phone.

The favorites downloader is now a complete two-way sync mechanism meaning it will now also upload any favorites in the app to the E-Hentai servers. You can find additional details on it in 'Settings > E-Hentai > Show favorites sync notes'. Note that it can be slow for large libraries.

Yeah, "blue penguin" nailed the problem. The latest update to the site is causing some issues. I'm working on a fix and will probably be able to get it rolled out sometime this week.
