Imo, status ailments ftw. Although i doubt you could put a legendary to sleep.

Would be pointless :\ The only real potential there would be to sleep+poison your enemy to death, but the damage done by poison wakes up sleeping monsters (I'm tempted to call that a bug >.<)

Assuming real life is synonymous with reality, and taking into account that at least one ice age has come and gone, then I'm not seeing how an ice age would stop real life.

The Zombie Cow can just be spammed by Elec spells and slowly dropped. The Manthra... that mother fucker gets Spirit the second I see one. On normal it probably takes me a good 20 turns if I try to take him down with physical attacks.

You must play on easy.

It takes me around 8 turns to get down usual monster with physical attacks, on Normal... and spamming with Elec spells... I cast 10 then I'm out of mana.

Hey i made this observation and it's bothering me.

There's a severe lack of ice weak monsters. (firefox)

Cocka, Panda, ghost all suck vs fire
Blue, cookie suck vs wind
Tentacle, green, hamster, mantit suck vs lightning.

Balance tiem?

Also, Manta, Canuck, hedhehog, mind raper and zombie are all bosses, yet most of them share the lightning weakness.

Actually, three of the common monsters have cold as primary weakness. One has fire as primary weakness, none have elec, and three have wind. Yet, more monsters have increased resistance or immunity to cold/wind than the others, and fire/elec have more mobs with that element as secondary weakness.

Except for the bit about the Cow (since I have no spells besides Magic Missile and therefore can't verify for myself) this is entirely true, especially when they only take 1 damage from a Spirit attack. Hedgehogs aren't that big of an issue either since they don't do that much damage.

Forget everything you think you know:

1 3 Fireball hits Rabid Hamster for 1 fire damage.
1 2 You cast Fireball.

I won't say how many I cast before I noticed it was immune to them... Luckily this worked:

9 5 Rabid Hamster has been defeated.
9 4 Lightning hits Rabid Hamster for 107 elec damage.
9 3 You cast Lightning.

And just for the hell of it I tried this on his friend:

8 4 Fireball hits Mantitcore for 53 fire damage.
8 3 You cast Fireball.

Their attacks still did the same type of damage as before, BTW.
