I have more then three times your luck of the draw and still get lesser items sometimes, even with maxed luck of the draw you would probably still occasionally get lesser healing items, training isn't meant to be that drastic.

Just got a lesser health draught from new beginning battletoads its really not that big a deal. this thread is for constructive suggestions not bitching and moaning.

Also reset the register date of every user to the moment you enact the reset. That will drop everyone's power and make it almost impossible to upload misc galleries.

And don't actually clear the galleries, just have Snow Flake adopt all of them. Think of it as eminent domain.

Reporting back now that I've hit Lv37... yup I'm getting owned once again, can only barely reach round 20 when cake grinding without using items (it used to be round 30 or so when I was at lv33). I'm mostly using gears picked up between Lv26-31, primarily because I don't have the credit to spend, and also because none of the stuff I've picked up recently was as good as what I'm wearing (if I actually get to pick anything up that is).

I understand I probably don't have the rights to criticise the way the game is set up as I didn't spend any time coding and designing it (and I appreciate your doing it very much), but since this is the suggestions thread I might as well have a stab at it.

I'm fine with monsters getting stronger and more difficult as one levels. I can't tell you exactly how many rounds I think I should be able to go without using items cake grinding, but I personally think the rate the mobs out grow me right now is a bit too fast, and some rebalancing would be nice.

Just a few suggestions purely based on my current level (and play style):

1) Generate mob strength in line with the char's shield and barrier rating to guarantee a minimum level of survival, unless equipment is more readily available. (P.S. I wish I had spent the credits I pumped into quartermaster at the shop instead.)

2) Generate mob level as your level +/-2, so there's always a chance for a drop from a slightly higher level mob for future use.

3) Guarantee an equipment drop every 100 (or insert number scaled with the char's level) grindfest rounds or so (like a frequent grindfest reward).

4) Raise mitigation on armour significantly. Might need to look at how this works with absorption and mob damage output, but at least a higher mitigation rating means newbies can stick with the same piece of equipment longer as a % reduction in damage is constant but an x point absorption is not. BTW I have a 6% physical mitigation rating right now. I think it'd be great to see it raised to around 20-30% on the same setup.

I'm no game designer, so if the above points don't make sense I apologise. Also, sorry if this is a TLDR post.

It sounds mainly like you out leveled your gear, I would say its not really all that difficult to get armor in the game as it is.
I'm monster stats are generated based on level making them based on shield/barrier ratings is both gonna be a more work to code since it will be variable, and kind of breaks the game since shield/barrier are derived stats, so it defeats the purpose of people putting points into stats that raise those.

Ya.... that would kind of suck to have to face monsters +2 levels, if you got unlucky and had to go against 9 monsters that were +2 your level, or even face boss monsters +2 your level.... umm no
And how long armor will last you is almost whole based on quality not what level it is.

I don't think we are ever going to see guaranteed equip drops outside of shrine redemption.

And well 6% physical mitigation wearing what exactly? if you have a cloth/leather mix do you really expect high mitigation, as it is now the change to multiplicative mitigation was really cause between the dmg type mitigation and the regular mitigation people were getting too close to being able to have 100% mitigation so I see the percentage of mitigation going up, and as for the absorption on armor well that's kind of the point to make you have to upgrade stuff as you level.

Based on what you've said it seems like your just out leveling your gear, but I just don't really have any solution for you other then get more credits and buy some stuff, really training more quartermaster is going to be a waste since it has very very small returns, if anything putting points into luck of the draw might be better since you will get better quality items.
