- Unarmed and Naked (unarmored) to have their own proficiencies. (Well, me being n00b don't really knows what proficiencies gives, but it would definitely give something). This would help new players who are starting without anything and without any hope to get some equip for quite a while. This also would make way for gloves / knuckles type of weapons... And Naked prof would be increasing evade chances. Unarmed - phys damage multiplier - Focus that restores some MP - Spirit that would not use up all SP (or natural SP regen in battle) - Skills? Well, flee is useful (I believe. Still can't figure is there any penalties for death), but thats all? - And, is there something to reduce spells' cost? And some crack: - "Blue magic" in ff terms. i.e. Ability to use monsters' signature attack. Really, who would be able to resist go around 'fest shooting bukkakes and Toddlerguros all over the place? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Hm, this could be a way to utilize Skills menu... - Reward the user on victory with random picture from random gallery. That would be hilarious (or not. getting guropic is definitely not something I would think of as reward...). Then again, something from handpicked special collection would be ... motivating. - Personal (monster)girls as rewards. You will have to feed her (with potions?), give her gifts, and when her affection becomes hight enough... And she would help you in battle, like, by casting free spells with affection% chances! Ideal way for obtaining one would be from quest (special arena?). And you could have multiple! This post has been edited by hen_Z: Sep 11 2009, 23:59

I'd like to see a Mug ability to be used in battle, where you steal any equipment or item a monster may be carrying. Maybe figure action speed, Dex and Agi into the success rate. The idea being that you could grab stuff without beating all of the monsters (or just grab stuff that rarely ever drops on its own). No EXP or credits, of course, since you got what you came for.

Hm, I think I thought out some good way to implement "Blue magic": defeated monsters drop ... themselves (or respective eggs). You somehow activate them (like, heal, or hatch egg) and then you can "summon" them from the Skill menu to execute their signature move. More same monsters you have - more powerful their skill will be. Alternatively, they may be one-shot magic, disappearing after use.
Well, Summoning itself may be good addition. Like, once you defeated Legendary, you can call for its aid in battle (like Spirit Attack, but does not use Overcharge). Or, you can summon the Legendary from its respective Trophy, sacrificing it in the process. This way, you can Summon even if you didn't down the Legendary, by buying the Trophy (if it shows up on Bazaar).

It would be nice to be able to use items outside of te battle, for instant HP / MP / SP restoration. Just imagine: you finished the grindfest, all spent and battered, but you just drink a few of your medicine bottles what are sitting in your inventory without much use, and now you ready for another fest! And without spending the money on that Healer...

Not a bad idea. A little rough, but still pretty great.

Ew, hell no. Unless I could sell them at a slave auction for credits.

If you don't like it, then do a cakefest and use those potions (I take... 0 damage so it's like using them from my inventory), but don't tell 'him' that, or he might nerf it.

I think this idea's worth quoting here... QUOTE(uth @ Sep 11 2009, 16:54) ya mass poison would be awesome, or even if it had a chance to spread... since it is called spreading poison
QUOTE(EvolutionKing @ Sep 11 2009, 18:10) Or spreading viruses between monsters would make battles easier.
New spell: Infect. You hit the monster with a fast-acting strain of plague virus which inflicts damage over time, plus on each tick there's a certain chance of it spreading to the next monster along. A monster can't be re-infected by its neighbour, but (so you can use it more than once) each time you cast the spell it creates a new strain of the disease.

Not sure if it's been suggested yet, but being able to see your equiped equipment while in the equip bazaar, just so we don't have to unequip it all to check that the piece we're buying is better then our current one. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Oh yeah, that would be a fun one to have (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) But with spell virus>Infect> boost Deprecation 2 % in the tree. To bad it would require a new ability tree. Edit: Tens offers slave monster as sacrifice to Goddess Snowflake (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) This post has been edited by dlhmmr: Sep 13 2009, 16:06

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) That would be quite hard, wouldn't it? A lot of people have their most used proficiencys capped at their level (or close). Meaning the proficiency gain would either be wasted or useless. For example: A lvl 60 player has dual wield proficiency at 59, 2handed proficiency at 1. He dual wields weapons and the only reason he has 2handed proficiency was because he was playing around with it for a while. He brings an artifact into the shrine and gets proficiency: a ) he gets dual wielding proficiency, let's take 10 from your post: he only really gets 1 since it caps at 60, his level. Even if for shrine proficiency you'd be able to go above your level, you'd still not get proficiency for the coming 10 levels from normal grinding. b ) he gets proficiency for 2handed weapons, it raises to 11. Completely useless to that player. This post has been edited by foxhound: Sep 13 2009, 17:15

could always make that effect ignore cap, but you wouldn't be able to raise it again till you naturally could.

WTB a Smithy.
Everyone knows smiths are expensive, but create custom weapons to order. Would it be hard (or break the game) to have a smithy that could make you weapons of varying quality and "type" (nimble, balance, etc.)? If it scales by level of the player and quality of the weapon, given that you get almost nothing for selling stuff in the bazaar, that'd be quite the credit sink. I would also love to just have a better weapon/armor. There could always be limits on the quality allowed too.

any chance of reducing training time? (almost everything useful with the exception of adept learner and scavenger takes at least 8 hours x.x) or allowing training of multiple things concurrently?

I personally can't really see the use for that. After a while most things become quite expensive to train, up to the point that you'll need the time it takes for them to train (and more) to get enough funds to train the next level of something.
