numbering the monsters would be helpful been a few times that I've weaken/silenced the wrong monster out of the 9 cause of not actually counting them each

Maybe an additional Montage option that gives experience, instead of proficiency. That's actually what I thought it would do at first, and while proficiency does help, I'd much rather be a little closer to another Ability Point.

I also wouldn't be opposed to an Arena-style feature that gave you a set reward, like a specific weapon or armor, or even a random piece of equipment. (unless that's already the case, I've only gotten so far) In other words, a challenge where the only possible rewards are equipment, experience, and credits.

well, the regular arenas are kinda of your set chance at equip. supposedly it is 50% towards to higher arenas.

someone suggested quests, which might be a way to do it. say "kill 100 tentacle monsters" and receive a random piece of equipment or c bonus er the like.

Knowing Tenboro you would have to fight all 100 tentacle monsters at once and they would all start with full MP...

well i was more thinking that you would complete the quest over the course of grindan and arenas. certain quests might only count kills on a minimum difficulty as well (hey this might convince people to play something other than cake)

huh, yeah you could have one time achievements (with some sort of bonus of course) as well as repeatable quests.
or just achievements that rank up, and where killing 50 tentacle monsters might earn you 100c and a "tentacle slayer" title, killing 5000 tentacle monsters might get ya a piece of equip and a few thousand c, and upgrade your medal to "tentacle genocide"


hell you could even have medals or a page to view what achievements a player has earned

I said something similar too. It's kind of lame that the ring is basically only for players that have ascended, and it'd be nice to have something the lower critters like myself could do. My example was a Fibonacci sequence of Firefoxen for a Fire-resistant piece of equipment or some Infusions of Fire (likely after you've beaten it the first time).

I'd like to play something other than cake, but struggling through 6 rounds then dying for a mediocre reward isn't reason enough.


I'd love to figure out how some people can still grind normal and others are having such a tough time in just cake.
Cake is OK for me, but everything above it is just ridiculous.

You'd be achieving the same rank in each monster type at almost the same time.

If a quest system gets implemented an interesting one would be something along the lines of "feat of strength" quests whose rewards would be applied to a feat tree, with stuff like improved spell or melee damage, or wielding a 2h wep as if it was 1h (won't get the 2h prov, but would be worth it for damage)....yes if you haven't figured it out I'm talkin about goin somewhat D&D with this. Stuff like empower spell or even great cleave would be kinda interesting with the rng.

That said the quests would have certain prerequisites to meet in terms of abilities unlocked, proficiencies earned, character level, other feats gained, etc, and you can reset them, for a very high fee (talking along the lines of 1k+ first reset rising like the ability tree, but capping at 100k or more). The kind of quests you would do to get these would be stuff that would be hard to do at the appropriate level that it would be available, with the low level stuff (and thus first available feats) being something as simple as doing graduation on Nintendo, and the high end stuff things such as "Kill Real Life on Heroic" or so.


That said, I would like to see a way to possibly empower your weapon with a spell such as weaken, poison, or even one of the elemental spells for a period of time. It would be a relatively high level ability that you could get from the tree that would allow you to imbue your weapon with the effects, but their efficiency would be based on both the spell's original school and supportive, and any proficiency gains would be from the original spell.

On that note, the train known as my thought process has derailed about...oh...300 words or so ago so I'll stop here.

the one time tiered medals/achievements/quests suggestion sounds good.

get to round 50 of cake/normal/hard etc

kill 50/500/5000/5000000000 of x monster

dodge 10 times in a row

kill 9 monsters in under 5 turns

etc?

Adding dropped items to your empty inventory slots while battling.

Don't know if it was already suggested, but it would be nice to give the users the feature to define equipment sets through the equipment panel, so that we can equip a whole set in a single click: I'm going to use two different kinds of equipment, cloth and staff for hourly battles and heavy/shield/dagger for grindfest, so it is boring to change every single piece many times a day.

I wonder if Tenboro already thought about making this game more co-op.

There could be dungeons that can be entered with other players, strenghtened monsters that call for a group or duels. This of course would had to allow organization through chat or messages somewhere.

That's a far (far, far, far) cry but maybe this could take that route. Just maybe.
