I already addressed this when I added the 10% posting fee that's non-returnable if the auction doesn't sell. If you feel that he's buying "under-valued" auctions, just buy them yourself.

Heh. I was considering doing something like that back when I had 7 credit increasing skills and the GP conversion rate was lower. Buy Hath in Credits and sell in GP and make profit off my advantageous conversion rate.
I didn't decide to not do it because of some moral prohibition, but because I figured it would take too much effort for too little credit gain.

finally, whassup with Ability Boost training? with new ability tree significance of AP lowered greatly.
i think its nesesary to low cost & it's rising speed of Ab.Boost training, or somehow change levelup system by rising number of AP gained per level(e.g. 2 AP for each 2nd/3d lvl)

after all, are some more skills other then flee planed in future? if not, maybe it'll be better to replace "skills" menu with "flee" thigger?

Same system, Click spell, click attack, click monster, voila. Elemental melee attack counting str / dex instead of int / wis in terms of damage calculation.

The point was never to be able to have all of the skills, so it makes sense for the system to work as it does. Most games don't allow you to have every skill, so why should this one be any different?

My suggestions:
Bring barrier down to a lower skill tier. Magic is killing me, especially now it regens. People need a way to minimize the damage.
Separate the magic proficiency increase from the AOE. I'm not dropping 5 points into a spell I will never use just to increase my proficiency.

Yep but I'll humor you anyway. The sheer number of AP slots on the tree only makes AP that much more important if you cant afford to train in it as choosing what to learn involves the tactics you want to use in battle. Thats what silence is for. Also weaken takes away the enemies ability to crit you with magic so although you still get hit the damage wont be as devastating as it started to become before (Damn tentacle rape and jiggle)

I agree with the proficiency seperation though. I like being able to boost my AOE but having to do it just for the elemental proficiency really sucks

i cant agree with you. now each tier needs 35AP to be filled completely. 10 of them comes from levelups & 25 left for training. of course first AP from training has really small cost, but wery soon cost becomes unreasonably high comparing to effect you can get from usage of gained AP.

and at least even if you train all 200 points(i cant imagine how much time it will take) you can fulfill only 8 tiers(it's really a lot, but i doubt that anybody manage this untill they'll have twice more released tiers)


P.S. maybe it'll be better to split curent tree into "passive ability tree"(everything that grants a constant effect like "health tank" and "flame tongues") and "active skills tree"(all spells and some new stuff for mlee builds) thereby problem will be solved in a better way:

Name one game where you can get every single skill at a relatively early point in time? Every game I can think of forces you to focus on one aspect in depth or go broad at a relatively shallow depth. Yes, there are games where you can end up having everything maxed out, but that take crazy amounts of time and is done long after the point where one can beat the game.

damn, where have i said that i want to get a bulk of AP for free? i'm talking just about making AP somehow more accessible. even now when i'm spending more then 6 hours daily for playing and uploading stuff for GP excange i've done only 7 AB trainings and cant efford myself some more in nearest future. it was normal before new changes in abilities tree applied but now it seems to be a lack of AP. at least some bonus AP for each 10th lvl will make situation more satisfactorily then now. summary hv0.3 became much harder then previous version, especially for lover levels. it's first game in my life where you should die twice wile getting money to earn enough to heal yourselsf once

When exactly was it ever normal to be able to be able to buy fuck loads of AP? From what I see, AP training actually became cheaper after the change (it seems to have decreased by 1,000 credits per skill. Of course I would like a refund for the 22,000 credits that means I overpaid, but if I don't get one, I'm not going to be complaining too much.)

A refund would be nice since it would get you one extra point, no matter how many levels you've trained.

Thats not strictly true. It would cost an 1,000 C for you to buy that extra point. (I have 22 levels. Next level costs me 23,000 C. 23k- 22 k= 1k) Of course 1,000 is basically nothing...
