Ok, since it's obvious you've already made your decision toward me and are not going to put any serious thought into any comment I make from this point onward, I'll make it a point to ignore any of your posts relating to mine. Now, since we've already wasted about 8 posts on this, I suggest we get back on topic.

QUOTE(whatever4096 @ Jun 16 2009, 00:07) So, since I am just a stupid "noob" would anyone mind describing to me exactly what a "noob" post is?
1st Rule of E-Hentai: You're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't. 2nd Rule of E-Hentai: When you graduate from noob, you will still catch hell as if you still were one. 3rd Rule of E-Hentai: Learn the first two rules or you will be driven insane and kill yourself.

Funny, I don't remember seeing those in the board rules. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

*in a Denzel Washington, Training Day voice*
You better forget all that shit you learned in the academy (board rules). You need to learn on the streets cause that's the shit that'll get you killed. Got that?

Why am I doing this? I should work for the UN after that. QUOTE I don't want to waste credits trying this, but I think there is a problem with the way the arena works. I didn't see this mentioned elsewhere. When you win a battle in the arena the clear bonus is reduced to 0, but the entry cost remains. Apparently, the clear bonus regenerates after a certain period. If the clear bonus is 0 though, shouldn't the entry cost also be 0 until the clear bonus comes back, or should that challenge be disabled? You see where the problem is now? You assume there is a problem right from the start. All of us have noticed the Arena clear bonus fall to 0 when you clear it, but most of us have think it through and then went with QUOTE of course, it says that we get low exp during Grindfest so Arena is more interesting, that's why I pay for more than a daily use. Moreover, the Arena clear bonus even get higher than the entry cost, so if it wasn't that way I could earn a lot of money quickly, thus making the game a Final Fantasy like where money grows on trees! Now that you've been answered, could this subject be closed, so we can go back to the original topic without suggestions being diluted. This post has been edited by URB: Jun 16 2009, 13:18

I had already dropped the matter earlier and suggested we get back on topic. I will admit now that you've pointed that out, I could've worded my question better. Sorry about that, I was a bit tired at the time. If it was a stupid question though, it could've just been ignored. Anyway, we should get back on topic. It's not that big of a deal, I just wanted to know what I did, so I could avoid doing it again. Thanks for pointing that out. This post has been edited by whatever4096: Jun 16 2009, 14:17

Here's a pointer. In case of conflict, move along. Don't give people more ammo to shoot you with.
That said, can we PLEASE for the love of FUCK stop trivial bickering in MY goddamn thread ?! This is supposed to be an orderly list of possible ideas for tenb to go through in a few years... Let's at least try not to make it any less interesting for him to do so :s

Something like this happened a lot out there... My crazy idea: how about giving someone who finish the Endgame a catgirl aura or at least a septua-gold star? With this I believe some of us will stop to post, including me. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

How about training items that have no (or harmful) effect, but increase the proficiency much more quickly than usual. For example, a training sword could make every physical attack do 1 damage, but the proficiency goes up 0.10 each time.
I'm not sure how well that could be broadened to include spell training.

Here's something a bit more realistic - how about a numeric display of how much HP/MP/SP the monsters have left, similar to our character display on the left during battle.

I'm not sure how doable it is, but how about an enemy that is a doppelganger of your player.
He has all your stats, he mirrors your strategy. He would be, in theory, insanely difficult.
If not an exact mirror, how about a player-esque enemy. He has the same spells, uses similar strategies, etc.

Are you trying to kill us Boggy (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) . I don't want to face my replica, that's just cruel and unusual punishment. I don't want my doppleganger unleashing my spirit attack on me for 900 something damage. That would be worse than fighting a legendary.

I know it is more likely to happen when items are introduced, but how about something like a thorns spell. (enemies take damage whenever they hit you)

Cheaper AoE spells. I hate paying 23 mp for inferno, revamped my skill tree and put the ability points into HP/MP tanks.

After level 40, have the drop rate of potions shift towards magic away from healing.
Edit: Also, something that converts spirit points to MP might be useful. Maybe as a piece of equipment that allows you to use them once your MP runs out?
Edit 2: Make it so magic missiles can't be resisted. One of the best things about them was that they didn't miss...

I'm all for getting increased magic item drop rate, I don't have very many mana items left. I wouldn't mind having a spell that can convert HP/SP --> MP.

Hp -> Mp should be deprecating attribute tho. Necromancy trait and everything. Good idea. This post has been edited by Cyriel: Jun 20 2009, 23:28

Yup... I'm casting no Elemental spells at all, and I still feel MP limit is a biggest constraint in multi-round battles.
